He was positive that he should be finding out about the drugs but he had no idea how to start. As Satoshi’s lover from the country he couldn’t just start saying things like ‘Oh do you know where to score?’ He sipped his drink mournfully remembering that Jun had told him that he wanted a full report that night and all he had to tell him so far was ‘Satoshi and I fucked on his desk and it was brilliant’ that wasn’t going to go down very well with the commissioner at all. He was useless as a copper, he was always going to be and this in his opinion was just proving it. His dad had been right.
“Little fish?” Satoshi’s voice purred sliding up beside him and wrapping his arm around his shoulders his lips finding their home on his hairline. “I’m sorry, please stop pouting…I didn’t mean to kick you out of the office and I am happy to see you…”
“…Eh?” Nino muttered in confusion until he realised that the club owner was playing along with the fiction that he had created about him being his lover that had surprised him. “You seemed really angry though…I’m sorry…”
“Don’t be silly little fish…I was just angry by the clothes that you were wearing…They weren’t appropriate…Anybody could see what belonged to me…” Satoshi hummed in his ear before he nibbled lightly on his lobe “If you had let me know that you were coming I would have finished all my paperwork before you got here so I could actually take care of you better…”
“Ohno-san…” One of the idols, Sakurai Sho, who Masako had a huge crush on, said with a smile coming over to them and leaning his back against the bar with a bottle of beer in his hand. Nino tried hard not to stare he really did but he was so used to seeing the man’s face staring out of him from the pages of a glossy magazine that it was almost unnerving to see him living and breathing in front of him “Who’s your friend…?”
“My boyfriend, Ninomiya Kazunari…He’s…Only just arrived in the city and seems to have forgotten that it’s rude to stare…” Satoshi chuckled nipping at his ear almost painfully and Nino flushed brightly licking nervously at his lips as he mumbled;
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean too…My friend…She is a huge fan of yours…I was just thinking that she would never believe me…”
“Little fish, we offer anonymity here…” Satoshi whispered in his ear as the idol went slightly stiff his smile becoming very clearly fake and somewhat hard. Nino could easily understand that. The man must be so used to being in a spotlight that to come somewhere like this, which offered freedom and safety he wouldn't want anything to ruin it.
“I'm not going to say anything! I promise, Teddy…” Nino whispered deciding that if Satoshi could give him an embarrassing nickname so could he. He wasn't quite sure why it was teddy but he was sure that Satoshi had a cute chubby face like a teddy so it worked. “Sakurai-San I just meant if I could tell her she wouldn't believe me!”
“Can she keep a secret?” Sho asked his smile more relaxed again now as he drank some of his beer and Nino gave a nod. Masako might be a bit of an airhead but when it mattered she was loyal and steadfast and she would never betray a secret and he said as much no;
“Yeah! Of course she can!”
“The…” Sho moved forward and took a napkin from the bar a pen appearing from the depths of his pocket as he hummed “what's your friends name?”
“Masako…Aiba Masako…” Nino breathed in wonder as Sho wrote on the napkin and signed it with flourish before handing it to him. Nino stared at the signature in amazed silence his mouth hanging open knowing from Masako’s conversations that the idol in front of him was meant to be surly and unlikely to give out his autograph, in fact if you read one account he was more likely to chase you off with an umbrella but now he had a napkin message for Masako and he knew that it was thanks to Satoshi. “Thank-you”

A/N: I hope that this is okay ^_^
