Bodyguard part 2

Ohno Satoshi wasn’t your average looking bodyguard, his face was round his eyes sleepy in appearance and often carried a distant feel as he stared off into a dream like world. He could spend hours in one spot just staring out at the world while his charge did all the things that the emperor’s favourite grandson did. Social functions, meetings with important foreigners or simply lazing around in his scrumptious rooms playing video games and bemoaning the fact that he wasn’t allowed to do anything that an average teenager should do. He had been the young prince’s personal guard for the last five years now and he knew that his words were merely words…Just as he knew that he would be willing to lay down his life for him without question or remorse and not only because he was a prince.
“Samii…I’m bored…And I have nothing to do today…Can I go and see Masaki?” The prince, Ninomiya ‘Nino’ Kazunari asked turning on the sofa so he was peering at him over the back. Only his nose and eyes were showing but Ohno knew that his charge would be smiling at him wickedly. Masaki…Or rather Aiba Masaki talent was the only person that Nino counted as a true friend. He had been brought to the palace when Nino had seen him on the television and they had been fast friends since though work commitments and pressures on both sides often meant that it was weeks or even months before they could see each other.
The young prince didn’t have to ask his permission to do something, it helped to know beforehand where they were going and what they would be doing but it wasn’t required he was trained to adapt to whatever situation might rear its ugly head but Nino always asked him. He said that it was because it was polite to do so but Ohno suspected that it was because it made his job easier. It wasn’t something that Nino had ever done with his previous guard…All of whom had been fired without reference after only a few days with the prince. He had been a brat to all of them easily slipping out of their sight and heading into danger.
Ohno felt no sympathy for them, their job had been to make sure that the prince was safe and they had failed. He was the only one that had lasted. In the early days Nino had tried to give him the slip and sneak out but his moves were always predictable and Ohno could always keep an eye on him even if it had frustrated Nino. Now though they were on easy terms and Nino was more content to have him beside him as long as he didn’t act like a bodyguard when they were in public. “Please I haven’t seen him in weeks!” Nino pleaded his lower lip sticking out in a well-practiced pout and Ohno found himself smiling as he nodded saying;
“Of course little prince…”
“…Thanks, Samii…” Nino jumped up from the sofa and sped off into his dressing room leaving the guard to roll his eyes and grin as he prepared himself for the trip. It was the work of a few moments to arrange a car and to take out his preferred weapon and the he was back to standing rigidly against the door when Nino came out dressed in a pair of simple jeans and a t-shirt. If one didn’t know that he was the prince, they never would have suspected given his appearance. “Come on then Samii…”
“Yes, little prince…”

So then Nino was around 12 five years prior (or even a little bit younger?) uhm I totally understand Ohno then... I wouldn't be so impressed if trained bodyguards lose tracks of their charge if they are this young even if they are as mischievous as Nino

But it seems quite platonic. Are they going to grow love along with Sakuraiba? Or is there already love seeds on Nino part?
