Aiba Masaki had been a star since childhood. His parents had been celebrity chiefs starring on their own cooking show. His first appearance in front of the cameras had taken place when he was only four years old where his mum had made him biscuits. From that moment his own star had risen giving him roles in commercials for toys, clothes, and children’s food. At six he had several regular shows on children television and by ten he had released four albums and multiple mini albums. His face was on everything and there was rarely anybody in Japan that hadn’t heard his name or seen his face. He was now coming up to his seventeenth birthday and for the first time in his life he had received a death threat.
It had come disguised as a birthday card and had still contained a happy picture of a bunny wearing a paper party hat but the message had been anything but jovial. It had been downright sickening and terrifying but retired delta force officer Sakurai Sho couldn’t understand why he had been shown such a thing. He had been retired from the army for only a month when he had gotten bored and had decided to take a place with the security police. He had assumed that somebody of his skill would be assigned to the prime minister or at the very least a visiting VIP not a child star but he was slowly starting to realise that that this was why he had been summoned.
“You want me to baby-sit…Aiba Masaki?” He breathed looking at the man in front of him. In the army he would have outranked him but now he was a civilian and this man was his boss and he was trying hard to stay in line even when the man gave him an almost cruel smirk as if he knew that such a task would be degrading for him.
“Yes…”
“Very well sir…The threat seems serious…The imagery in the note alone…” Sho said with a nod picking up the card and flipping it open his lips curling as he read the vile message once more. It wasn’t the assignment that he would have wanted but he wasn’t going to give the man the satisfaction of knowing that. The man blinked slowly with disappointment at the lack of outrage on his part but he managed to recover nodding slowly pushing an envelope towards him and muttering;
“This will tell you everything that you will need to know…There are already some guards on duty but I told them that you would be coming…So you had better get over there…”
“Yes, sir…” Sho muttered offering him a salute before grabbing the envelope and leaving the office with it tucked under his arm.
It was only when he reached his car that he let out a loud hard swear at the unfairness of it all. Not for the first time he questioned his choice of taking early retirement and then he pushed all of those feelings away, checking the address on the envelope, it appeared that the young star still lived with his parents in their restaurant. The image that came with the helpful pack was just a stock photo that was probably the same as the one on the website listed and he wondered what kind of person would be hiding behind the sweet looking façade.

A/N: I started working on this as a replacement to my into the forest story before I got sick…I haven’t given up on it completely but I’m not happy with it so I’m going to rework it until I am XD I wasn’t going to post it until I was better but since this chapter was nearly finished I thought why not XD

Date: 2016-03-16 12:31 pm (UTC)How you feeling? Must be doing pretty good......or is it boredom that has this writting spurt coming out? Lol! Sure hope your doing good. I'm going to see a Gastroenterologist today! I will never be able to say or spell that without looking at the paper! Any way, the woman checks you for leaks and problem in your upper and lower regions when they knock you out. I'm going to my moms doctor and we both somehow have appointments with her on the same day......lol.....today. Guess she will talk to me today and schedule when we are to do it. But at least I'm riding with my mom there......appts. were only 20 min. apart lol. Take care! Hugs! : )
