“Train as in…A child…? As an apprentice?” Ohno asked doubtfully his whole face screwing up a little and Nino could feel his idea vanishing as quickly as it came but he was determined to keep going knowing that he didn’t want to just sit around in the palace. The ice house would take a long time to complete and he had a feeling that Ohno would be there for most of the long days of the work. He was sure that Kimiko would give him some company but the knowledge that he had in his head could help out in Ohno’s war and it would be best if he were to do it know while they were in a state of peace. Licking his lips slowly he swallowed down a lump of nervous tension from his throat and whispered;

“…I was thinking of maybe two…One from the village and maybe one of your soldiers has a child that may want to learn…” Still seeing doubt and almost rejection in the brown orbs Nino moved forward again and took his lord’s hand squeezing it tightly as he whispered “Please my lord…I know of so much that may help you in your war with Matsumoto but I would not be able to treat all of your men if they came as severely injured as you were…”

“I am honoured by your desire to help me, Nino, but…I have no desire to draw more attention to you…Already you are at risk…” Ohno hummed and Nino sighed screwing his eyes closed as he pursed his lips a little. He didn’t want to cause an argument with his lord. It had taken them a long time to achieve this point of unity and he didn’t want to lose it now but he wanted something to do.

“I will not leave the palace…I can teach them in whatever room you wish of me but please allow me to try…” He pleaded bringing the hand up so it was resting against his heart “I swear, Satoshi, I will never moan about the guard or staying locked away…”

“Fine…I will talk to Masaki and Sho…Masaki will be able to ask in the village while Sho will ask the soldiers...” Ohno sighed very reluctantly his hand moving up from his chest to cup his face “If there is any that may wish to study then I will allow you to teach two of them…I apologise for keeping you looked away…But…Your innocence…combined with your talents…”

“I understand, Satoshi…I didn’t at first I thought I was a prisoner but I understand now…And I’m honoured that you think I’m worth protecting…” Nino smiled somewhat shyly after all that they had been through last night and Ohno chuckled pressing his lips to his forehead before lazily caressing his cheek with his fingertips. “I want to be worthy of your protection and if anything were to happen to me I couldn’t use my talents then I would at least want to be able to leave you with somebody that would be able to help…”

“You speak like you are going away somewhere…” Ohno growled and Nino swallowed knowing that he was thinking about when or if he had to return to the future. He still had no clue how he had arrived here anyway and he knew that in a blink of an eye it could be taken away from him. Almost sobbing at that thought Nino hugged Ohno tightly whispering;

“I’m not…Or at least I hope I’m not but just in case…”

I really hope they find the students!
But what good reason for them to want to learn, but still not knowing who teach them? I still don't have good enough reason except they knew about Nino's ability. But isn't it being kept as secret?
