krystalkatzficzThe sandcastle was a marvel of construction standing almost as tall as the eldest of the children. As far as Nino could tell it was based on a European design. With four large turret shaped towers and walls long walls. There was a draw bridge made out of drift wood carved to fit with a penknife by skilled hands that had obviously done the deed many times over. A long snake like dragon had been added by Ohno at the request of the youngest boy, with sea weed scales and stone eyes, while a princess doll had been sat on the largest turret. The sizing was perfect as though Tsuyoshi had gone out of his way to make it into a play house. It wasn’t the castle that Nino had pictured building with his own pup but he could appreciate it and be proud that he had had a hand in its construction though Ohno and Tsuyoshi had done the most part.
The other beach goers had crowed around as close as they could, talking excitedly while snapping pictures. Nino had found it both embarrassing and distracting but Koichi had comforted him distracting him with a few magazines about werewolf pregnancy that they had found while cleaning out their rooms. They were old and well-read and Nino could easily imagine a frantic Tsuyoshi devouring the pages wanting to so what was best for his mate and his pup. The plain faced gamma clearly adored his family even if he was prone to teasing them and each minute he was spending with them made him glad that they had welcomed him into their lives without protest.
“All that’s left is the flag!” Tsuyoshi announced loudly pulling him out of his thoughts. With a loud gasp Nino eyed the amazing fairy tale castle that now had sea weed as ivy seemingly growing up the turret with the princess and indentations that caused it to appear to have actual stone. Shells and pebbles had been placed around the moat on top of a plastic lining that Tsuyoshi had brought with him and the sea water was staying in the moat while the driftwood drawbridge was down and a knight, from the same set as the princess, was on horseback riding towards the castle on a road that was paved with stones and lined with more seaweed and sea grass. “Would you do the honours second?”
“Me? I didn’t really do anything…” Nino mumbled nervously eyeing up the white flag that had a paw print in the centre. “You should do it! I’ll just break it…”
“Come on…It’s your first castle you should have the honour…” Ohno hummed with his hand on the small of his back guiding him to the castle and the flag. “Come on…”
“But…The kids…Or you…”
“I’ve already done it…The flag is my paw print…” Ohno chuckled plucking it out of his uncle’s hand and pressing it into his. Nino swallowed, his cheeks flushing as he realised that they were still being watched by the other beach users and slowly he moved forward and pressed the sharp end of the flag into the turret closest to him. The sand gave way only a little at his touch but it was enough for his heart to dip nervously and his mouth to go dry positive that he was about to destroy the whole thing. Once the stick was deep in the sandcastle he jumped back into his lover’s arms watching closely for it to fall. Thankfully it stayed strong and a loud round of applause rose up from the crowd and the kids began jumping up and down saying;
“Can we play now?!”
“Of course you can, knock yourselves out” Tsuyoshi laughed ruffling each of their heads before dropping down on the sand next to his lover. Nino watched in mild horror as the children began to play with the dolls and the castle their voices happy as they made up fantastical stories.
“Wanna go for a paddle now?” Ohno breathed in his ear and Nino nodded glad of an excuse to get away from the crowds. “Ours will be less grand…and time consuming…”

I had never done sandcastles. Mostly because the sand here is really dirty and smelly. Hhh.. I wish I can build it though. Maybe someday.. :)

Nino probably had never had scenery or maybe even some sunset view with night sky almost half(sunset is outdated, a night sky is almost covering half of sunset is more amazing! You got icons of warmth and cool together in the sky) to witness of till now.
Maybe Ohno can kiss him and somehow the pack took a picture of it as a photo memorial of their first time together in the beach. :)
