The Alpha and the Omega part 137

Ohno was the first to wake the next morning. It wasn’t anything strange as an alpha his mind was naturally weird to be up and about when they were in a strange place. He knew that Masaki, Toma, and Yoshie would have been patrolling as ordered but he needed to go out and check for himself. After making sure that Nino was fast asleep he transformed into his wolf and hurried out of the room with a flick of his tail. The first thing that he noticed was that there was mist rolling in off of the ocean giving the beach an almost eerie appearance. He knew that it would burn off when the sun came out. Or at least he hoped so as he was determined to take Nino to the beach with the kids and let him build at least one sandcastle. It wouldn’t be the same as when they built their own with their pup but he hoped that Nino would enjoy it. Sitting back on his hunches he lifted his nose to the air and panted.

 The air was crisp and sweet with just a touch of musk from his brother’s wolf. He turned and ran towards it his body crouching when he knew that he was close. His tail flicked a little and then he pounced knocking his brother flying with a soft yip. To his credit Toma recovered amazingly quickly and playfully lunged at him his teeth playfully nipping at his shoulder blade. His teeth gnashed against his fur and Ohno gave a growl throwing himself hard against Toma before turning away and continuing his patrol around the perimeter happy when his brother fell into step beside him. He was still unsure about what he felt about his brother and sister but Nino’s acceptance of the matter was helping, that and the fact he was glad that his brother had picked him over their parents.

They walked together in an easy silence, the sun coming up and the mist burning away as thought, until he was satisfied that all was well and all was clear. His tail flicked a few times as they reached the door and then he yipped his thanks before heading inside transforming when he saw Nino in wolf form looking at himself in the long mirror. He wasn’t completely sure what his little lover was looking for but he was very intense his paws up on the glass.

The young Egyptian jackal, was very wiry and slender with shaggy tuffs of fur hanging around him in clumps. It wasn’t an impressive sight really but it was a cute one to him more so since Nino had changed willingly by himself

“You’re so cute…” He thought running forward and gently pushing him down to the floor surprised when Nino let out a sharp piercing whine looking shocked.

“I heard that!” Nino’s voice appeared to echo through his mind and he let out a shocked but happy yip of his own.

“I guess we can read each other’s minds…”

“Even in this form?” Nino asked his mouth making a series a whines and yips as he nuzzled it against him. Ohno mouthed him back nipping and licking at his lips.

“It appears so…I’ve heard about that this before but I never expected it to be this clear or this coherent…It’s actually rather strange…” Ohno thought back pushing his lover down onto his back amazed by the feelings that washed over him from Nino. Disjointed memories that weren’t his own swirled around unfocused inside his mind for a moment or two while he caught the rush of confused feelings from Nino before he settled on love.

“But it’s good strange?”

“It’s an amazing strange…”

Is Nino looking at himself in wolf form? Great improvement I would say! Maybe he is starting to like his were side or tolerate it more now. :)
