Set in the MatsuMiya’s Horde AU.
“Happy Mother’s Day!” Voices chorused startling Nino from a very peaceful and pleasant dream. The bed started to shake and feet and legs began to hit at him from all sides. Pushing the last remnants of his dream away he pulled his eyes open and looked up at the happily excited face of his eight children who had started a chant of “Happy Mother’s Day! Happy Mother’s Day!” Each one of them from Marianne to Yuki were bouncing up and down with banners and cards and Nino frowned trying hard to think about what day it was. “Mummy!”
“Hunh? What?” He growled in mild horror as he struggled to sit up without knocking anybody from the bed. He and Jun were in a happy loving relationship and sexually he was more of a bottom but not once had any of his children called him mummy. He was daddy and Jun was Papa. It was the way that they had been since Marianne and never had they celebrated mother’s day. The children made them cards on father’s day and that wasn’t until June. “What are you…What do you mean Mother’s day? I’m not your mummy!”
“But…You got all of those pretty flowers!” Marianne said and Nino frowned a little before remembering the huge amounts of flower bouquets that he had been given just a few days ago. “And I learned in school that mummy’s day was today in the UK!”
“We’re not in the UK…And I’m not your mummy! I’m your daddy…” Nino pouted wincing just a little as the children all dropped down almost on top of him their little bones digging into his soft arms and legs like various tools “Marianne...Where’s papa?”
“I’m here!” Jun chuckled coming through the bedroom door carrying a tray, something that he only normally did when he was sick or it was his birthday. As his lover came closer Nino was surprised to see that there was a cake in the middle of the tray. It was a complete and utter mess as though it had been iced during an earthquake with warped looking flowers and birds, obviously done by Riku and Ryo his most talented artists, sitting on the top with other squiggles and squat eyed animals were around the cake in yet more icing. In short it was probably the ugliest cake that he had ever seen but he couldn’t stop his tears from forming, more so when he saw that instead of anything to do with Mother’s Day there was an attempt at the award that he had won and Jun’s semi-nervous cursive saying ‘Congratulations Daddy’.
“Babe? You okay?”
“Shut up…Pass me a tissue…” Nino muttered looking at Fumio who smiled and pulled one out of the box beside his bed. “Thanks sweetheart…What is this?”
“Your celebration! We didn’t get to celebrate much yesterday because we were busy…But Marianne had the idea to do it today…So…Congratulations!”
“At’Lations!” The children all said together their voices ringing more brightly and sweetly than any of the other congratulations that he had received so far. Jun had congratulated him very sweetly with an early morning blowjob but the kids hadn’t seemed to even register the new award but now they were all here making it amazing for him.
“Thank-you…Thank-you all…” He breathed as the tray of cake was set down on his lap while Jun came to join them on the bed, his lap soon filled with children who were eagerly looking at the cake. “I guess we should eat this, ne?”
“Yup!” They chorused and Nino took up the knife that was next to the stack of plates. His eyes went to the beaming Jun and his heart melted ever further deciding that the award was nice but the cake was better.
