“That’s ten my lord…Stop now…” Nino insisted surprised at how much sweat had broken out on Ohno’s face. He had chosen that exercise thinking it to be most simple and least taxing of the ones that he could remember but the pain in Ohno’s face was very real…But so was the determination and he wasn’t surprised when the older man murmured;

“I can do more…”

“Tomorrow…” Nino whispered taking a small scrap of cloth and wiping down his fevered brow a little clearing away the sweat. He could see the disappointment feeling his lord’s eyes but he shook his head standing firm and refusing to back down “If you do anymore now you’ll just damage yourself and be back to the beginning again...I don’t mind staying here with you longer my lord…But I think that your men would be happier to see the back of me…”

“Has somebody said something to you? Or done anything?”

“No, not directly my lord…” Nino lied as he began to slowly clean and dress Ohno’s wound again. The stitches would be able to come out fully soon and it was an almost disappointing thought. His eyes flicked up to Ohno’s face and he could see him giving him a probing stare and slowly he added “Though Matsumoto-san disapproves of my being here I’m sure…”

“What has Jun said?” Ohno growled looking as though he was about to march out of the tea room and find his advisor that very minute. The younger man cursed in his mind wishing that he hadn’t been so curious to find out Ohno’s and perhaps Jun’s feelings. He didn’t want to cause trouble for Jun after all. He was still cautious of him but after hearing Masaki’s story he had started to pity him as well. He knew that his pity wouldn’t be welcomed but he did it anyway and he hoped with all his heart that the man’s brother was well and truly dead or dying an agonisingly slow death for all that he had done. “Nino…Tell me…”

“He…Just mentioned…My…My sleeping arrangements…” Nino breathed deciding that it was better to say something, more so since Ohno had a scary look in his eyes “It was nothing really my lord…he just mentioned that castle gossip had me down as your mistress…I’m sure he is thinking of his sister…”

“Jun is aware that my relationship with his sister is merely platonic…” Ohno shrugged his face not relaxing out of the angry scowl that he had set it into and Nino realised that he was just making things worse for both himself and for Jun “I married her only for her save face rather than bring a child into the world without a father…And because I was in need of an heir…”

“It still must hurt his sister’s reputation that you would rather have me in the room beside you…” Nino whispered his cheeks burning when Ohno’s face relaxed into a small smile and he pointed out;

“The lady Kimiko knows that I would rather have you warming my bed than her…In fact she is actively advocating it…Whatever issues that Jun has with you I doubt they are caused by a love for his sister…U will speak with him…”

“No…Please my lord, allow me to handle him…Please…” Nino pleaded and reluctantly Ohno gave a nod leaving Nino to try and come up with how he was meant to handle Jun.

Andddddd how are you going to handle the matter? *raise eyebrow*
I mean last time Nino was terrified of Jun and he quivered in front of him, Nino is good on the medical field but confronting Jun, how will he do that I'm curious.
