~MatsuMiya Chapter~

Jun glared at the house in front of him. It wasn’t exactly dilapidated but it was a close thing and he made a mental note to make sure that Sho did something about the properties his tenants lived in. Nino had made out that his uncle was a good lord but it didn’t appear that he was that good. He tapped his knuckles against the almost soft wood causing a damp sound thud to move through the house. A few minutes later the door opened and he was met with Nino’s curious face. The youth’s face scrunched up a little his eyes becoming hard when he saw who it was that was looking at him.

“What do you want? Are you sure you can be this close to my ignorance?”

“Will you hold your impertinent tongue?” Jun growled tapping his feet on the porch making sure not to go to fast and hard not wanting to go through it. “I’m here to apologise…”

“Apologise? You just want me back in your bed…” Nino muttered his voice going soft as he moved out of the house and closed the door behind him and Jun sighed when he caught the soft scent that was coming up from his skin. It had been a week since he had been this close to Nino and he felt almost weak at the smile and the warmth that came up from him. He wanted to pull the youth towards his body and hug him tightly but he stopped himself doubting that Nino would want it.

“I do, I have to admit that I enjoy the delights of your body…” Jun agreed thinking about how much he had been dreaming about Nino in the last week, how he had woken spent and empty in a mess of his own sheets with just a cold pillow beside him. But it wasn’t only that, he missed the way that Nino would talk to him, tease him with his dry wit never once being afraid of him. He’d had more attractive people in his bed and he had enjoyed them but he had never enjoyed their company after the act of sex was complete with Nino he had. “But…That’s not the only reason…I was starting to enjoy your company…You infuriate me…”

“And you insult me…Your apology is lacking, my lord…”

“I will never believe in the old gods, the theory of them is lacking in worth but…I should not have insulted you over them…It was wrong on my part…You may believe in your primitive gods and speak the old tongue…”

“For an apology this sucks, my lord, just so you know…” Nino growled before relaxing his face as he pushed his hair out of his eyes “…But I imagine that it is painful for you to admit that you’re wrong so I thank-you…And bid you good night…” Nino began turning back to his door his hand on the latch and Jun growled hard grabbing his hand and turning him around hissing;

“What? You’re just going to…”

“I accepted your apology but it doesn’t mean I’m going to be eager to jump back into your bed my lord…” Nino shrugged flippantly and Jun was very tempted to growl but, knowing that it wouldn’t be welcome, he squashed it down staring at Nino waiting for him to tell him what it was that he wanted “…You’re going to have to do more than that…”

“…What?”

“Prove that you don’t just want me to warm your bed…” Nino shrugged and Jun really did growl now his eyes rolling so hard he was sure that he had strained the muscles as he asked;

“What? You want me to propose?”

“No…I just want you to stop being a jerk...If you can’t do that…”

“I can…”

“Then do it…”
