krystalkatzficz“Jun confronted me after and although I wanted to lie I didn’t want him to be guided by false hope…He rode away that day for lord Ohno and I did not see him again until I was brought here by Sho…The sweet boy who shyly wrote me poetry and brought me flowers was nowhere to be seen…I made him the way that he is…I should have loved him…” Masaki whispered breathing deep a few more times before turning to look at Nino again. It was the first time he had told anybody his story of Jun and even though it was only to Nino it felt like he was once again betraying him. Jun had needed to be loved, it was all he had ever wanted but he could not give it to him because at the time he had had no idea what love was. He was nothing but a child himself, he had wanted the money to save himself and his mother “…In the end I refused the money…I took nothing from Yuichi…”
“And you…You have carried this guilt with you this entire time? Masaki you were an emotionally disturbed child…That anybody expected that of you was not your fault…” Nino hissed in his defence and Masaki gave him a smile touched by his words but knowing that it wasn’t strictly true.
“I knew what I was doing, Nino, I had been trained for it…”
“Have you…Ever tried to explain to Jun…To tell him your side?” Nino asked and Masaki had to admit to himself that he had thought about it. He had thought about getting Jun alone or writing him a letter to explain himself but no matter how or what he thought of doing it never turned out well for him. The Jun of today was a very different person to the Jun that he had known.
“…Jun wants nothing to do with me and I don’t blame him for that…I suspect that a lot of it is him not wanting to remember…” He mumbled said coming to sit back down beside Nino on the bench and the younger man sighed softly whispering;
“He remembers you…When I said yellow daisies it was like I had kicked him in the stomach or ripped his heart out of his chest…”
“Betrayal is not that easy to forget…” Masaki sighed finding Nino’s words more painful knowing that it was unlikely that he would ever be able to smooth things over with Jun.
“I think it’s more than that…He thinks of you fondly, Masaki…I just think that he’s too stubborn to talk to you himself…”
“I hurt him so much, Nino…Everybody betrayed him and I did the same…He told me things that I have never shared with anyone…Of his dreams of wanting to be a wordsmith, of producing plays that would be watched with joy…Now he gives advice on war…”
“From what you’ve told me the war on his brother his justified…The man sounds like a monster…You and Matsumoto-san…You both sound like victims…” Nino mused as he rubbed his chin with sore looking hands a faraway look in his eyes “The only person at fault is the Matsumoto Yuichi…I wish you would believe that as much as he does…But I…I still can’t understand why he hates me so much…”
“I think it does…You appear out of nowhere as my friend…You immediately become the favourite of lord Ohno…Jun is afraid that you are another paid whore…He accused me of such the other day…”
“Do you think…Is it possible that Jun is in love with our lord?”

Date: 2016-02-09 04:12 am (UTC)I am with Naoki...true love doesnt go with three...i hope this not going as I think... it will be dad because i really love how their love was growing...3 people relationship is not true love...this is my personal opinion. Let me know if it will be a future 3 relationship so i continue with the other stories.
