krystalkatzficzNino ran a critical eye around the club feeling a strong sense of pride that he had pulled it altogether in such a short space of time. Everything was looking amazing with banners proudly displaying the name of the drink with a table of free samples in the centre next to the DJ stage. Throughout the night there was going to competitions and other weird giveaways. Sho had been promoting the party as much as he could since had had asked to use the club and tickets had been sold out since a week after they had gone on sale. There was a huge fuss and Nino was determined that they would deliver on the promise that it was going to be one hell of a night. He’d wanted to forgo celebrities not wanting to pay them a fee but several musicians were regulars at the club and somehow Masaki had convinced them to come and do some free promotion.
“Hey!” Masaki shouted now running up to him and wrapping his arms around him tightly his chin resting on his shoulder as he swayed him from side to side in a weird almost dance. “Can you believe this! It’s so great!”
“Yeah…If it all goes okay it will…Have you seen Jun?” Nino asked as he pulled himself out of the tight grip looking around again as he sighed softly not seeing any sign of Jun in the club. He should have been there ten minutes ago as he had only gone home to change and feed the cats. At Masaki’s apologetic shake of the head he pulled out his phone frowning when there were no missed calls or messages.
“I’m sure he’ll be on his way here!” Masaki said comfortingly as he smacked him hard on the shoulder knocking him forward so sharply that he almost dropped his phone onto the floor “He’s probably being getting you something really romantic to congratulate you!”
“As if!” Nino hissed his cheeks flushing a little as he hoped that that was the case and not that Jun was going to bow out of the party all together. He didn’t think that he would as he knew how important it was to him but it was almost time to open the doors and he couldn’t see any signs of his lover. Ohno was already here with a man the that he assumed was his lover. He had been too busy to speak with them but from what he had seen the lover was younger but very clearly in love with Ohno who appeared to be a lot more relaxed in a pair of jeans and a shirt. “I should go speak to my boss…If you see Jun…”
“I’ll send him straight over, I promise, but you should relax and enjoy yourself…You deserve it and it’s all going to be perfect!” Masaki enthused and Nino sighed scratching at the back of his head with frustration as he walked over to Ohno and his lover.
“Ohno-san! I’m sorry that I haven’t greeted you…”
“Ah Nino…Of course don’t worry about it…Work comes first…I’m impressed at what you’ve managed to achieve…” Ohno smiled before looking uncomfortable as his eyes moved over to his companion “I…If I may…I would like to introduce my companion…My…Um…”
“Lover?” Nino prompted with a grin turning and bowing at the man “Nice to meet you, I’m Ninomiya Kazunari…”
“…Ikuta Toma…Satoshi has told me a lot about you…This place looks amazing…” Toma replied and Nino flushed again as he straightened up. The stared at each other in an awkward silence until he saw Masaki stalking towards them with a grim expression on his face.
“Nino…The office…Um…Jun wants to talk to you…” His friend breathed smiling apologetically at Ohno and Toma and Nino swallowed licking his lips nervously as he hurried off in the direction of the office not knowing what he was expecting.
“Jun?” He breathed slowly stepping into the office and seeing his lover sitting on the table looking like he had just gotten out of a boxing ring.
