a/n: In this Nino is a hermaphrodite
Nino sighed breathing in the scent of the hot chocolate that Bunni had brought him. His mind was confused and his heart hadn’t calmed down since the teacher had called him beautiful. He half hated it that Ohno thought of him like that but at the same time his heart was dancing against his ribs. Nino ignored the tiny spiteful voice in his mind that was telling him that if Ohno knew the truth he wouldn’t find him beautiful and cast his eyes to Ohno who was sitting with Matsumoto drinking a foamy looking coffee with an almost sour look on his face.
At some point in the day Shika had turned up in the bookshop with a girl from Honeysuckle house and Nino thought that the mousy girl had looked better than he had ever seen her before. The lost and alone look had left her face replaced by a shy happy smile that even reached her eyes. The girl had left her with him and Bunni before going to the person that was obviously her real partner and now they were all sitting drinking hot chocolate while attempting to make small talk. Nino was too focused on Ohno to really care about what Shika and Bunni were talking about until he heard Shika give a small shy cough
“Ne...Nino-chan…” She started and then stopped her cheeks flushing with colour as she played with the handle of her cup. Nino raised his eyebrow pulling his eyes away from Ohno’s table to look at his housemate who looked like she was holding onto the world’s biggest secret.
“What is it Shika-chan?” He asked in his softest voice and Bunni gave an encouraging nod while Shika gave them both a shy smile her eyes glinting looking around the café area looking more than a little nervous
“Um…I have a secret...” She said and Nino cocked his head to one side his hair brushing against his shoulder and he tried to control a shudder as he wiggled an eyebrow trying to look interested
“What is it?” He asked and Shika blushed a little bringing her chair closer to the two girls and putting a hand to the side of her mouth to muffle the sound she was about to make
“I…I’m…Seeing someone…” She said and Bunni made a funny surprised squeak blowing some of foam from the top of her cup over the table and Nino quickly pulled back to avoid the spray as they both rounded on the timid girl who he thought would only be happy with a book in her hand.
“What?” The glasses wearing girl said through her coughs wiping her mouth on a napkin before handing it to Nino so he could wipe his half of the table “What are you talking about, Shi-Shi?”
“…Um…I’m seeing somebody…Don’t tell anyone okay? I was just so excited that I couldn’t stop myself…You won’t say anything will you?” She asked quickly her cheeks flushing and Nino found himself shaking his head wondering why she was telling them in the first place. He was surprised that the mouse would have somebody and he felt a pang of jealousy and his eyes flickered back to the teachers barely noticing that Matsumoto had gone when a jolt of lightning running down his spine when he realised that Ohno was staring directly at him his eyes burning with an emotion that Nino couldn’t understand.
Ohno tried not to smirk when he saw Nino’s blush creeping over her face, she was so beautiful he though watching the way her eyes moved over his face, looking anywhere but in his eyes. He had noticed her looking at him but while Jun was sitting beside him he hadn’t been able to look at her, he had wanted to look, he had wanted to look he wanted to see everything that she was doing.
He was almost jealous that the other girls that were sitting by her looking completely intimate. He shook himself as that thought settled on him he really was going crazy if he was starting to get jealous over little girls. He almost let out a groan but stopped himself. He wiped his mouth on a napkin and got to his feet watching as Nino’s blush got redder as he went over to the girl’s table.
“Are you okay, ladies?” He asked trying to make sure he looked at all of the girls instead of facing just Nino but it was a hard thing his eyes seemed to be pulled to the girl, the oversized shirt and the jeans, wondering what she would think if she knew what he was thinking would her blush get stronger? Would her eyes fill with disgust if she knew that he was picturing those clothes on the floor in his rooms with her spread out on his bed her hair scattered like an ebony fan on the soft blue of his pillow case? “I…I’m going back to the books when you’re finished find me there and I’ll walk you back to Lotus Lodge…Shika-chan where is your partner?”
“She is with they didn’t leave the school, sensei, I came with Ria-chan…Um Toda Ria from Honeysuckle house and her partner Hoshino Yasu…Sensei…” Shika said and Ohno gave a nod, it was his job to ask but he couldn’t find it in him to care much about the answer his eyes continuing to go back to Nino.
“Okay, you’ll come back with us…” He said giving a nod before spinning on his heel and going back into the main shopping area of the store. He went towards the art books first deciding to pick up a few titles before going to the music books and looking at all of the books that Nino had been looking at noticing that they were all about guitars and guitar riffs. Nino had been looking at them pretty intently but he had noticed that the girl hadn’t brought a single one Ohno sighed guessing that the girl had been too afraid of her parents to get them. Without so much as a second thought he picked up all of the books that Nino had looked at and marched towards the check out. The three girls came over to him as the checkout girl handed him his bag of books.
“Do you need any help sensei?” Nino asked in her reedy voice and Ohno blinked in surprise but shook his head with a smile
“No, thank-you Nino…Are you ready to go back or is there somewhere else you wanted to go?” He asked forcing himself to stay straight faced when the weight of the bags tugged at his arm.
“No, its okay Sensei…” Nino said before any of the other girls could speak and Ohno flashed the girl a quick look of gratitude doubting that he would be able to keep up the charade for much longer. He knew that if it was in front of anyone else he wouldn’t have even attempted it in the first place but he was trying to impress Nino even though he knew that he was being stupid.
The group walked back to the school in silence, with Bunni holding both Shika’s and Nino’s arms with the music teacher standing as close to Nino as he dared without it looking inappropriate though they were still close enough for their arms to brush against each other as they walked and Ohno forced himself to stay calm as he felt the heat radiating from the young body. A soft wind was blowing and the slight smell of the girl’s body soap filled his nostrils and he bit his lip tightly to stop his groan. It was too much and he almost wept with relief when after 39 minutes of torture the school gates came into view and he could hurry on ahead, the weight of the bag in his hand going unnoticed now there was an even bigger problem growing in his jeans, this really couldn’t continue, he decided as the arm brushed against him again and his cock twitched against the fabric of his jeans, I’ve got to do something.
