krystalkatzficz“…For what you said to that douche Akiyama…Thank-you…” Nino mumbled almost reluctantly to the teacher as they walked back to their dorm. He had purposely hung back to say his thank-you for Sho’s little speech though he was still wary of him and his intentions towards Masaki. It was obvious that Sho loved…Or at the very least fancied his friend and it was even more obvious, to him at least, that Masaki fancied Sho in return but at the moment it was still unclear if Masaki was ever going to wake up and realise that fact. It seemed that Masaki was just as blind to his own feelings as Nino had been about Satoshi’s and now he was feeling both respect and pity for the teacher that had to deal with him. “For not only looking after Masaki but…Because of what you said about this being work…I never looked at it that way, sensei…”
“It might not be paid work but it is work…All three of you work hard and are good at what you do…” Sho hummed his eyes on Masaki who was walking a little ahead with Satoshi and Jun who had decided to tag along even though their rooms were in opposite ends of the dormitories. “The team wouldn’t have done so well without you cheering them…”
“I didn’t do much…”
“You are sick but you still went, those students will never forget that, Ninomiya-kun…” Sho flashed him a smile that made his eyes shine with warmth and Nino could almost see why his friend fancied him. In Nino’s opinion he wasn’t as attractive as his Satoshi but he had a charm about him. Nino gave a grunt pulling his eyes away as he mumbled;
“Do you really think that Akiyama will do something?”
“I’m hoping that we will never see him again but he was bad enough to go so far as to stalk Masaki so we can’t rule anything out…” The teacher told him and Nino felt anger flaring through his heart his fists clenching into tight little balls.
“He should be arrested!” He growled “The old man was far too easy on him!”
“That is the head master, Ninomiya-kun…” Sho reminded him gently but Nino was too angry to care and he just gave a shrug while Sho continued “There was no proof…Not even Masaki-kun had seen him lurking in the clearing…So the headmaster did the only thing that he could…If Akiyama tries to do anything to Masaki or to any of you then we can get him arrested…”
“So we have to hope that he has to attack Masaki?”
“No!” The teacher growled with so much force that Nino felt himself flinching until the man managed to calm himself down and breathe deep before continuing “We should hope that Akiyama comes to his senses and leaves him alone…I know that you would have liked to see more punishment, I would have liked that also but we shouldn’t hope for something to happen to any of you…”
“I’m sorry Sensei, I didn’t mean it like that…I just…Masaki is so naïve…” Nino whispered positive that his friend would probably just leave with Akiyama if he said that he needed to talk.
“I know, that’s why we will keep a close eye on him…And prey that nothing happens…”
“Yes, sensei…”
