Your Grace part 57
Aug. 30th, 2015 10:42 am“A month? Why not sooner?” Nino asked slowly his heart fluttering around as much as Phoenix’s wings did when he was trying to fly and Ohno gave a warm sounding chuckle his lips brushing against his forehead.
“I am happy you want to bond with me so quickly, beloved, and I would agree to it without question but we have to wait for the full moon to return…” Ohno explained and Nino supposed that it made sense in a strange way. There was still so much that he didn’t know about elves or their culture, if anything his sister knew about it more than he did. Already she seemed to act like one of them and it was strange considering how long she had been treated like a little lady “The lady in the moon watches over all bindings…She has to be the one that accepts a match…”
“…But she gave you the vison…She said…She…Will she change her mind?” Nino asked feeling panicked and worried looking up at the moon terrified that during their bonding she would say that there had been a mistake. He had already fallen in love with Ohno and knew that the king felt the same but would it change if somehow they were told there was a mistake. Ohno gave another chuckle his lips pressing to the top of his head again his arms becoming a little bit tighter around his waist as he purred;
“No…We are meant to be my little beloved, my heart is yours and yours is mine…Have no fear on that…But…It is symbolic and…There is a ceremony, I cannot tell you more on that now...But I promise that you will love every moment…”
“Okay…” Nino agreed almost unwillingly his eyes flicking up to the moon that was shining overhead praying silently to the lady to allow him to stay with Ohno.
“…Look ahead Nino…” Ohno told him gently and Nino did as he was told gasping at what he could see. There were low lights of the camp in the distance. Orange flickering lights set against the dark with white tents standing like monuments against the backdrop of the black sky. It was a deeply beautiful sight but at the same time it was one that filled him with an overwhelming amount of dread. He was glad of the comforting warmth of his lover behind and the fact that Aiba kept sending him reassuring looks when he wasn’t positively bouncing up and down with excitement on the back of his Shire.
“Everything will be fine, my beloved…” Ohno whispered against his ear and Nino tried to nod his heart feeling like it was in his mouth. He looked around at his sister who was contentedly pressed against Jun her head resting on his shoulder her eyes closed. At first it seemed that she wasn’t nervous at all but the slight tightening around her mouth and eyes told him clearly that that wasn’t the case. He supposed that being a full human surrounded by elves was going to be nerve wrecking on his sister, no matter how calm she pretended to be.
As if driven on by the sounds of singing, and the lights of the camp, the shire spurred harder his feet thumping against the ground bringing the lights and song closer and closer until finally they were close enough for Nino to make out separate voices in the warm sounding song. The nerves vanished as he listened to the song realising that they were calling them home to their family.

Date: 2015-08-30 10:35 am (UTC)So they kind of know the camp is coming back to the village!! That's kind of amazing!!
Haha but Nino would be overwhelmed by all the people(I assumed there would be all inhabitants gathered there). Hopefully a good kind. Since Nino probably had never have everybody stared at him a lot. In the same time. Even his first meeting with Ohno, he is nervous as hell.
Thank you Krys-san! Enjoy your day out!!! ^ ^/
