Ohno could have skipped as he left his and Nino’s shared tent his lips still humming from the warmth of the kiss that he had shared with his lover and the words that had been so nervously whispered. Drawing attention to the sweet words would have caused embarrassment though he had wanted to pin Nino to the bed and have him repeat the sweet confession a thousand times over. Nino loved him, rather like his bird learning to fly Nino had let go of some of his past that was holding him down and soon he would strip away the last of it and together they would soar.

>You are looking delightfully happy this morning…< Jun teased lightly coming to stand beside him and Ohno gave a chuckle his head dipping in a nod unable and unwilling to hide his happiness. It wasn’t something that he felt he should be ashamed of and he replied with all of his happiness clear in his voice as he said brightly;

>You would be if Nino had told you he loved you…<

>…Actually, my king I would be rather disturbed and fearing for my life…< Jun laughed with a pointed expression on his face causing Ohno to realise what he had actually said.  Letting out another laugh of his own he moved to the fire where a simple breakfast had been prepared. >In all seriousness though my king I am truly happy for you and the low king…You deserve happiness…and so does he…From all accounts he’s had precious little of it throughout his life…<

>The Draven’s and what they did to him will forever be a part of his life…Even though that in the grand scheme of things they were nothing but an unpleasant dream in his long life…< Ohno sighed sitting down and motioning for Jun to do the same able to see the anger burning in the bright eyes. >Some moments no matter how short they appear can have profound effects...But they will help him to be a great low king...<

>Somethings should not be given a silver lining, my king…< Jun growled looking angrier than anything and Ohno wanted to tell the younger elf that he was right. He wanted to send an army of elves to kill the man that had put Nino and Arianna through such torment but it would do little good >I have always been sure that humans have great potential but the hate in their hearts…How could anybody such a thing to a child…? And have others touch him…<

>You cannot judge all on the actions of the few, Jun…I hate those that hurt my beloved and I feel that they should be punished but there are many…Like your good lady, who have none of that hate…<

>I understand that, my lady Arianna is nothing like her beast of a father…But from what I have seen of them, the bad outweigh the good…<

>Then you have not seen enough humans or elves, Jun, there is good and bad in both…It just depends on where you’re looking…You are focused on the bad and because of that you are blinded to the good…< Ohno sighed knowing that it wasn’t easy, some creatures like Goblins seemed to have no other emotion than hate but he was certain that even they must have other sides that nobody else had seen >My advice to you is to take each person, human or elf, as an individual…Judge them on their actions alone and not on the actions of their family, clan, or species…You will be much happier for it my friend…Now I wish to wake my beloved with food and a kiss…<

A/N: Hmmm…Jun seems more angry about what happened to Nino than Ohno but it isn’t the case Ohno is just better at hiding it…>.<

Yes, I do hope with Nino living for a long time, it will just be a bad dream among all the goods and I do understand those experiences will make him have compassion and loving nature everybody grew to love somebody. Even now he's loved!! :)
