“You do realise that I am second to the king, my lady?” Jun asked with an almost scowl on his handsome face as he held his hands apart to allow her to use him as a prop for the Nanny’s wool. The human elf was thankfully staying quiet in the corner her lips twitching with the smallest of smiles while Arianna knelt in front of him wrapping the wool slowly around his hands as if she intended to wrap him up like a parcel. Jun had been one of those that had been granted an image of his pure partner at a young age, though unlike the king he had made sure that he had enjoyed himself before physically meeting her, but of all the things that he had seen about the young human that he would share his life with this had not been included.

“I do…” Arianna answered without sounding impressed as she readjusted his hands so they were the correct width apart “But right now the clan is not being attacked and nor are you on guard duty so you may stay and do what I want of you…”

“Is this your punishment for my taking off my lady?”

“No this is your reward for bringing those that harmed my brother to be brought for justice…” Arianna answered carefully winding the wool around his hands and Jun chuckled just a little regretting it when the blind girls hand darted up and connected with his face hard “That is one of your punishments for taking off without telling me…”

“My lady…I must confess that I didn’t mean to take off without word to you but I wasn’t thinking, when I heard what those men had done to your brother the low king my body acted without consult of my mind…But I swear that I thought only of you in my absence…” Jun smiled wishing that he could reach out and capture the girls chin and force her so that he could look into her beautiful face. Arianna seemed to be looking purposely away from him and in the end he decided to tell her the truth he had no doubt that she would already suspect as much. For a girl blind to the world around her she seemed remarkably confident in it. “But I knew that I would return…You and I are destined to be…”

“I suspected as much…I would not have cared so much if there was no connection between us…” Arianna sighed her hands pausing in their quest to tie up his own and finally she did look up at him her blank eyes peering directly into his “But…You are an elf and I am just a human even with my sight…My brother will have to chance to be with the king for many years while I…I will be nothing but a dream in your long life…”

“You will be more than that my sweet lady Arianna…” Jun promised knowing already that she would be his greatest love even when she had gone to the stone “The visons that I have had of you my lady…Of us…Our time together may indeed be short but in that time I will make sure that you and I experience the very best of what life can offer…That there will never been a moment that you will not feel as special as I know you are…”

“You elves are a strange breed…So quick to use sweet words and make even sweeter promises…” The girl laughed brightly “But a silver tongue does not get you out of work…”

“I never thought for a moment that it would, my lady…”

yup Jun is so sweet!! I like that couple XD but It's sad They only be together for a short time as she said she is just a human :/ I hope they have more time together

Lol punishment time start is Jun only acting as prop, nothing else?
However happy they might be, I had hoped Arianna would just be an elf so they can be together long. Sadly she is not, hopefully they can fully enjoy their time together happily. :)
