Ohno Satoshi yelped as he felt a harsh kick landing in the very small of his back. It was typical of Nino’s rough treatment of him in the mornings so he wasn’t really surprised but he was surprised when instead of the shrill yell of his name he heard a muffled panicked half-sob. The sound was enough to shake away the fog of sleep and he turned around to find his husband, and love of his life, laid out with a thick sheen of sweet clinging to his cheeks and forehead. Silvery trail marks from tears was running down his face and his entire body was a tense ball of energy.
“Kazu…Kazu…Are you…The baby?” He gasped suddenly feeling just as panicked as he looked and Nino’s hand darted out gripping his fingers to almost breaking point. It was very clear that Nino had gone into the labour that they had been worried he would go into last night with Masaki’s amateur dramatics.
“Don’t…Don’t you dare panic old man…” Nino growled through his pants sounding surprisingly calm now and Ohno nodded biting hard on his bottom lip to stop the flare of panic that was flowing through his body “You did this to me, you don’t have the right to panic now…”
“Okay, Kazu, I promise I won’t panic Kazu…” Satoshi said sincerely knowing that he probably wasn’t doing a very good job of reassuring his husband. He had to admit that very few things bothered him but seeing his husband in a state like this was one of those things that could throw him into his own panic. “If…If anyone can do this you can…”
“…Masaki…I want Masaki…Please…” Nino whined rolling onto his side and holding his stomach his face rubbing against his pillow. Satoshi tried hard to not be offended by that but in his heart he couldn’t deny he was hurt that his husband didn’t want him. “Masaki…Masaki and the doctor…I need…”
“I’ll call them…” Satoshi agreed getting off the bed and scrambling around for his phone knowing that it had to be there somewhere. Nino had torn off his clothes last night when they were finally alone making love to him with his hand and his mouth until he was screaming out his pleasure. The memory wasn’t really an appropriate thing to be thinking about right now but it did help remind him that his phone had been thrown over the room to land in heap with his trousers and boxers.
“Just call Masaki, Sho will be there…” Nino sighed once again sounding calmer and Satoshi knew that Nino was having his contractions. The first ones were always the worst in male pregnancies and nobody could explain why. It was unfortunate as they were always when they weren’t near a hospital so that pain medication could be given.
“Are you sure?” Satoshi asked his head cocking to one side as he looked at his phone trying to find the number of his husband’s best friend. Nino looked at him with a cocked eyebrow asking;
“…If I ran away and panicked everyone…What would you do?”
“Chain you to the bed and never let you out of my sight again…” Satoshi answered without having to think about it as he found the correct number and pressed call. Nino gave a saucy laugh and a wink purring;
“And people think I’m the kinky one…If they knew the truth they’d look at you with…Urgh…Fuck…It…” Nino’s face crumbled again his arm slipping around his waist as he once again took up the foetal position. “…Next time…Next time you’re…Having…It!”
“If I could I would, Kazu…” Ohno said seriously when the phone clicked into life “Aiba-chan…It’s time Kazu is in labour…”
