krystalkatzficz“Excuse me?” Kazu hissed before Ohno could even register a response to what his mother had just said. He had expected her to be cold and even distant but he had not expected her to say something that was just cruel and untrue. “I’d rather be a tart than an unfeeling codfish like you…”
“…Fairy…” Ohno whispered in some surprise, Kazu was normally rather laid back and Ohno hadn’t expected him to say something like that when he hadn’t been able to even speak a few minutes ago.
“I’m sorry, Captain but…Even if she’s your mum I’m not putting up with that…She’s a codfish and she makes horrible tea…” Kazu got up from the chair and pulled away from his grasping hands putting down his cup onto the tray. His arms folded over his chest as his foot tapped up and down on the thick pile of the carpet “I am not a tart…And neither am I disgusting because I love your son so you can stop looking at me like I am…”
“You…” His mother spluttered looking more like a pufferfish than a codfish at that moment and Ohno had to admit that he had never seen the resemblance to either sea creature before but he doubted that he would ever be able to forget it now “You…You dare come into my house and speak to me like this?”
“You called me a tart and I’m a guest in your house…” Kazu countered his eyes narrowed onto Chinatsu’s face as if he was willing himself to be able to set her alight with his eyes and Ohno very nearly laughed getting up and placing his hand on the small of his back trying to calm him down “I am not a tart and I don’t want anything from Satoshi…Unlike you…”
“Me? He’s my son, I don’t want anything from him…” Chinatsu spluttered loudly getting to her own feet and almost descending on Kazu who didn’t flinch or back away and just stared at her with all of the fire that Ohno normally associated with Jun.
“You do…You want him to be straight…He isn’t straight…He’s gay…” Kazu said and Ohno watched his mother flinch back when Kazu accented the word gay “But that isn’t all he is…He’s also a wonderful person and an incredibly talented artist…You should see the paintings that he made they are incredible...A princess was there…Normally people would be proud and gushing but you…You just sit and act like it’s nothing…Nothing because your son isn’t what you want him to be…Both of you are worthless…I’m sorry, Ohno-san…I am sure that there might be hope for you but not having the courage to tell your wife that you want to know your son makes you just as bad…”
“Get out…”
“Don’t worry, codfish-san, I’m leaving you can stay here with your bitter tea all you want…” Kazu huffed turning on his heel and marching towards the door and Ohno smiled bowing at his father and mother who hissed through her nose;
“If you leave with him then don’t come back…”
“Then…So long and thanks for everything…” Ohno hummed with a small salute walking after his lover and wondering if it would appropriate for him to kiss his lover in his parent’s garden before deciding that he didn’t care.
