Nino groaned loudly reaching over the bed trying to hit the annoying screeching sound that was coming from that direction, wondering who they hell had set the alarm, but only managing to hit the warm and smooth hand of his lover who captured his fingers in between his and kissed his hand before whispering;
“Morning…”
“Urgn…Still feel tired…” Nino mumbled shuffling up to him and pressing his lips into the centre of his back. It was a decidedly beautiful back with beautiful creamy skin that had been tanned by the hot Hawaiian sun and their days spent besides the pool training. It was better though when his lover rolled over and he was presented with his chest and his smiling face.
“Of course you do…So do I…” Ohno told him and Nino gave a chuckle tucking his head under his neck as his hands moved up and down his side, loving the way the muscles clenched and twitched under his touch whispering against his neck;
“You are always tired…”
“I guess…” The older man admitted lazily kissing the top of his head before hugging him just a little bit tighter as he asked “Are you regretting coming back?”
“A little…” Nino gave a sigh pulling itself out of his throat thinking of his beach house. It had been perfect there lost away from anything that was happening here with that rival gang. Ohno hadn’t said anything to him, and he hadn’t asked, but last night his lover had been on the phone to somebody almost as soon as they had stepped through the door and the grin that had been on his face had been enough to send shudders up and down his back. “…You sorted it out with that gang? The idiots that came to the store…”
“…Yes…They will not be coming back to the store…” Ohno mumbled without any trace of emotion “They upset one friend and then insult another friend…Before scaring my lover…” Nino flinched at the way his lover’s tone managed to drop even further echoing with the emptiness as his arms closed around him ever more tightly before he added five words that actually scared Nino “They will not be returning…”
“Did you…” He whispered trying to swallow down his nerves asking “Did you kill them?”
“I was in Hawaii with you…” Ohno hummed pulling out of the hug so he was looking him straight in the face and Nino was almost irritated at the way that he was feeling. He had seen that group of teens coming for his lover and he knew that they wouldn’t have hesitated in hurting or even killing him but he didn’t want his lover to be a killer. Ohno had worked so hard to become legitimate and respectable it wouldn’t be fair if he if he had had to do something that could ruin him now just because he had gotten scared.
“Leader…You know what I mean…Did you have them killed…?” He breathed, immediately feeling guilty when he saw the look of pain that flashed in Ohno’s eyes before he sat up and folded his arms over his chest asking in a clipped voice;
“You…Really think that I would do that? They were teenagers…They are allowed to make mistakes as long as they learn from their mistakes…”
“So…They are alive?” Nino whispered his breath coming out in a long and grateful hiss as he sat up himself and closed his eyes thanking whichever god had heard his silent prayers.
“Alive…I promise, some of the little gits are now working for me…” Ohno told him slowly and Nino’s eyes opened quickly, his mouth dropping open in surprise and small amounts of fear that was only pushed away when Ohno continued “But they will never upset you again…I am surprised though that you care so much about them when they would have happily smashed your head in…”
“Leader…I don’t care about them…At all…Not one fig…But I care about you…My samii…My beautiful and scary prince that nobody else likes…” Nino breathed slowly biting on his bottom lip as his head cocked to one side staring into his lover’s eyes wanting him to know that the only person he was worried about was him “You hated that when you were a teenager, when people were mean to you…I never want you to go back to being that person…You are a legitimate businessmen now…”
“…Indeed I am…But that is all thanks to you…I would never do anything that would take me away from my little mud pie princess…” Ohno chuckled his arms wrapping around him as understanding flashed in his sleepy eyes. Nino smiled allowing himself to be crushed to the beautiful and powerful chest. It smelt of sweat and freshener from the fabric softener Nino insisted on using for their sheets. “You…Just now…Are you sure that you don’t understand Aiba…?”
“Huh?” Nino mumbled surprised by the sudden mention of his friend and he pulled out of the hug to look at his lover again his eyebrows knitted firmly together. Ohno took his nose in between his forefinger and middle finger squeezing it tightly before asking;
“And his love for Mr 6:35? You…You and Aiba…You both fell in love with people that most would avoid…”
“You…You’re not like Sho…” Nino muttered pangs of guilt running through him. He knew that he still had issues with Sakurai and the network of scars that decorated his face. He didn’t want to feel that way, he didn’t want to have his stomach turn when he saw him but he couldn’t help it and he couldn’t see what that had to do with Ohno or why it was being brought it up now.
“I don’t have physical scars…” Ohno hummed gently his hand coming up to caress his cheek “At least not to the extent that he does but…It is very similar…”
“I…Don’t hate Sho…” He mumbled feeling like a child that was being scolded by his parent and Ohno gave a chuckle reaching up and ruffling his hair with his soft hand.
“I know you don’t but you are uncomfortable with him…And while you’re like that it will damage that friendship that you have with Aiba because…Like you would pick me…He will pick him…” Ohno warned him and Nino let out a hiss, his eyes narrowing into sharp little points as he growled;
“I’d never give him that choice…”
“Not on purpose no…But…Slowly you’ll drift apart…” Ohno’s voice moved through his mind creating a picture that he didn’t like or want. He and Nino had been almost brought up together as brothers “You didn’t even phone him while we were away…”
“That…That wasn’t because…That was because of…What happened…I brought him something…” Nino felt sharp stabs of painful guilt crushing through him as he realised that what Ohno was saying was true. He hadn’t even thought about phoning his friend while they had been away but he had brought him a gift. “I’m sorry…”
“Don’t apologise to me…He left you a message just now…” Ohno told him pressing their mouths together before getting up from the bed and stretching out his back before walking off to the bathroom completely and utterly naked leaving Nino to wonder when the hell he had managed to tan his backside. Rolling his eyes Nino moved over the bed and picked up the phone holding the receiver to his ear clicking the play button quickly holding the phone away from his ear when he remembered that this was Aiba and Nino knew that his friend could be heard a mile away.
“Nino! I dunno if you’re back or not but I thought that I would phone you to be sure! I need your help! If you’re back and will come and help…We’re at that large house at the top of sunset hill…” Aiba’s voice screeched down the line causing Nino to be very glad that he had moved the phone from his ear “It’s Sho-chan’s house… Come if you want!”
“Idiot…” Nino laughed to himself when the phone clicked off. He lay on the bed for a few more minutes before getting up and heading over to the bathroom asking his lover “…Do you know where Sunset Hill is?”

Date: 2015-03-25 02:11 am (UTC)Ohno is so amazing here...and I hope Nino can look past Sho's scars and get more comfortable with him- because if he doesn't, he really might lose his close friendship with Aiba since there's no doubt that Aiba will choose Sho in the end...
