“My number?” Ohno spluttered out staring at the boy who was touching his own mouth playfully with the head of the pen, wondering how he could be so confident flirting with a man that he didn’t know was gay or not.

“Yeah…Your phone number…In case I have more questions about this Richard Dodd guy…” Nino smiled happily jerking his hand at the room where people were still milling around and Ohno found himself frowning and correcting him softly;

“Dadd…Richard Dadd...”

“Yeah him” Nino grinned even wider giving a shrug as if to say that it didn’t matter and Ohno half thought that he was right, to the teen the name didn’t matter “…I might suddenly wake up tomorrow and think…What the hell is a Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke?”

“He was breaking the nut with the axe…” Ohno mumbled his eyebrows knitting together as he tried to work out if he was being played with rather than flirted with. Nino gave him another laugh and stepped forward his hand coming up to caress his cheek very slowly as he purred;
“Well…You know questions like that…And I know that I will definitely wake up and think…I want to see this face again…”

“You…Are you…Flirting with me?” Ohno asked for clarification not wanting to make an idiot out of himself if he wasn’t being flirted with and Nino let out a very small laugh as his hand dropped away leaving his cheek feeling cold and strangely empty. The teen gave a pout his cute little bottom lip sticking out as his arms folded over his chest muttering slowly;

“Yup…Obviously unsuccessfully…”

“How do you know that I’m…You know…Gay?” Ohno stumbled over the word gay, his voice almost vanishing like he was a kid saying a naughty word and in his mind it was almost the same thing and he couldn’t believe that somebody as young as Nino would have no problems being at ease with his sexuality.

“I don’t think that there’s many straight men that would get so excited over paintings of fairies…No matter how talented they may think the artist is…” Nino shrugged with an almost fond smile on his lips before humming and continuing “That and you didn’t tell me to back off when I’ve been clinging to you all night…So are you going to give me your number or aren’t you interested in me?”

“I am…I’ve just never…Done this kind of thing before…” Ohno admitted with a flush in his cheeks. He had had male partners before, not many granted, but neither of them had happened like this…It felt almost like they were in some sort of movie. “…Um…My number is…”

“Head teacher…Is there some kind of problem?” Ohno asked smiling at his old friend trying not to think about Nino and the fact that he was still in his store cupboard drinking coffee. Even if they weren’t doing anything wrong or sexual he doubted sharing a coffee with a student would be considered normal. Sakurai gave a hum sitting on the edge of the desk his arms folding over his chest as he studied him for a few long moments before asking;

“I was wondering…If you had any plans for this Friday…There is an art show that you might enjoy…Um…I…I…Um…”

“You…Are asking me on a date?”
