Matsumoto Jun sighed staring at the black words on the page of his ledger as if trying to make the figures change into something else. He had barely £50 left of his savings, a better sum than some but far less than he was used to. He had been born into a proud and noble family but…His desire had gotten in the way of the good marriage that his family had wanted…Or any kind of marriage. His eyes moved to the figure that was laid out on the bed his heart constricting inside his chest as he felt a short pang of regret followed by guilt. He had doomed them both to a life that could be punishable by death and he was regretting only his bank balance.
“Staring at those figures won’t make them change…” The very male voice said softly from the bed and Jun smiled dropping down the pen with an elongated sigh before getting to his feet and strolling to the bed glad when the swell of the ocean didn’t knock him off balance the that that it had done frequently over the days since they had gone to sea to escape not only his family but the hangman’s noose. He sat on the edge of the hard wooden bed placing his hand on the warm nude back of his lover enjoying the touch of his skin against his fingertips. Ninomiya ‘Nino’ Kazunari, turned to look at him his eyes dancing in the light of the cheap pig’s fat candles as he stretched out on the bed like a prince stretching out over expensive silks and not cheap cotton.
Jun had been bewitched by the boy from the moment that he had met him working in his father’s stables and he had known the feeling was shared from the heated looks the young groom had given him. They had buggered the first chance that they had gotten and then whenever they could. His parents had been suspicious the moment that he had started to enjoy riding, a sport that he had actively avoided before Nino, and it hadn’t taken long for them to be found out in the woods. His parents had been almost forgiving, they had offered to forget the whole matter as long as he swore that he would stay away from him but Jun had found it impossible and they had fled the house for the sea aboard a boat that Nino’s friend captained.
“I apologise my sweet Nino…But…The captain…No matter how good a friend of yours will hardly allow us to stay aboard his boat if we do not pay our way…”
“Samii would never turn us out…As long as we do our share of the work…So…I will do my best as scrubbing the decks while you make sure you focus on his earnings and not your own…” Nino whispered with a smile his hand running up and down his chest and Jun gave a shiver his eyes closing as he gave a small sigh. It had felt like forever since he had been touched so intimately given that Nino had been fiercely sick since boarding the boat.
“Your sickness is cured?”
“Abated for now…So how about we indulge in that crime they would hang us for?” Nino chuckled hooking his foot around his waist and pulling him down onto his body their penises rubbing together through the thin fabric of their cotton breeches.
