krystalkatzficzKazu stared at his mother surprised by her honesty but happier for it. She was looking heartbroken though, as if she was wanting to run away and he cleared his throat quickly and gave her what he hoped was a smile and not a grimace as he mumbled;
“Thank-you for being honest with me…The truth was, I always wondered about you…And why you left me…But meeting Jun and hearing that you were only 15 made me realise why…And…I have never regretted my family…I have an incredible mum who always packed me lunch every day and kissed me goodnight every night…I have a dad that has accepted my choice in boyfriends with only one small punch, I have a younger brother who I care about…And I have an older brother that is so idiotic that it drives me crazy but who has one of the biggest warmest hearts in the world…I think that we both the lives that we should have had…I’ve never missed out on anything…”
“…How long have you been with them? The Aiba’s…”
“Since the week that you left me in the hospital…Mum had just given birth to Masaki, Dad saw me and asked my uncle about me…” Kazu answered remembering everything that he had ever been told by his parents. His father hadn’t liked to talk about it, insisting that it didn’t matter how he had come into their lives he was their baby so he had had had to get the story from his mum and his uncle “They agreed that they could foster me for a while but…When the time came to give me up dad refused…They didn’t think that they would cope with two babies but Dad still refused to give me up…They adopted me…”
“Your dad…He sounds incredible…”
“Kazu is definitely the Apple of his eye…” Ohno agreed coming up onto the deck followed by Jun who was still wiping his hands on a hand towel and Kazu held out his hands for his lover who immediately came to sit behind him with his legs and arms wrapped around him.
“…I think…I’ve been very lucky with Dad’s…Jun is a great dad too…” Kazu hummed as he pressed his back into Ohno’s chest and allowed his head to rest against his neck smiling at Jun who flushed a little his back looking a little straighter.
“You’re not so bad yourself squirt…” He muttered as he sat down beside Kazuko who was staring between them with a happy but side expression on her face.
“Hey, don’t make fun of my height!” Kazu grumbled and Ohno let out a laugh his mouth warm against his neck as his arms wrapped around him just a little more tightly as he hummed out happily;
“I like your height, fairy…You are perfectly proportioned for hugs…and cuddles in bed…”
“Seriously, Sato…Too much information…” Jun growled kicking out lightly at his friend who just gave a happy laugh continuing to kiss at Kazu’s neck until Kazuko asked;
“How long have you and Jun known each other?”
“A few months…He was a douche to me when we first met…” Kazu answered with a frown wondering why he couldn’t remember exactly how long they had known each other.
“You ran into me…Almost knocking me down the steps…” Jun growled flushing brightly while Kazu stuck out his tongue. Ohno hugged him ever more tightly as he nipped gently at his ear saying;
“Hey…You two…behave…I have to start painting you all soon…”
