The Phone Call part twenty-nine
"…Your eye…It’s…” Jun said the next day as he stared at Nino’s face. It looked completely normal like there were no signs that he had never had a black eye and Nino gave a very small smile holding up a stick of concealer.
“Make-up…From a distance you can’t tell…When I get in the make-up staff will make it go away completely…” He mumbled sounding as if he were speaking from experience and Jun felt his chest tightening with more anger but Nino just grabbed a hold of his hand and pulled him to the door “Come on we better get going…Sho has already given us the royal summons…If we don’t get there they can’t force me to talk…”
“Nobody will force you to do anything that you don’t want to…” Jun sighed almost cursing the fact that Sakurai had found out though he had been positive that it was a good thing for them to know. He couldn’t be with Nino 24/7, no matter how much he wished that he could, but there was a strong possibility that one of the others would be with him almost every day making certain that they would be able to protect him when he couldn’t. Nino scowled at him enough to cause a frown line to form in his handsome face as he muttered;
“No…But if I don’t say anything I’m just going to get funny looks anyway…”
“Kazu…”
“Jun…I…You…This…This hard for me…Okay? I didn’t even want them…You…To know that I was gay…Let alone…That…Shit with Kai…I don’t want them to pity me…”
“…I can’t promise that they won’t…You are our little brat and we all love you, but…I promise…I’ll get protective if they fawn all over you too much…” He said with a chuckle trying not to sound like he would be getting too jealous remembering how the pig had treated him when he was jealous but Nino gave a chuckle looking positively delighted as he asked playfully;
“Oh? How?”
“I’ll…Growl them away…” Jun chuckled capturing his lover and kissing him gently just enough for their tongues to dance against each other. He would never get tired of kissing Kazu, it was truly different from kissing a woman who would be soft and pliable against him and there were wisps of hairs on his chin at the end of the day when he hadn’t shaved but…He’s lips were soft…Or at least they were when they hadn’t been cut by a little crazy junior. Breaking the kiss he moved away looking into the kissed glazed face of his little lover enjoying the look that was in his eyes, glad that even for just a few moments he had managed to wipe away the fear and worry that had been in Nino’s face since they had been woken by the phone call from Sakurai telling them that he and the others were waiting for them at the studio. “Come on, just remember that I’m going to be beside you the whole time…”
“I…Okay…” Nino agreed and still holding each other’s hand they walked out of the apartment and headed down to the car that was waiting for them.
Jun barely registered the drive to the studio as he was entirely too focused on the way that Nino had given up all pretence in front of his manager. He was splayed over him almost like a second skin and although Jun knew that some of it was simply because he was in pain from his side it made him happy that he was that comfortable with him. The uncomfortable Nino returned when they were walking through the corridors of the studio, Nino’s anxious eyes searched every turn and doorway as if he were expecting either Yamamoto or the boy to appear in front of him. Jun was just as watchful but for him he knew that it would be about revenge. He wanted the pair of them to pay for what they had done and if he couldn’t tell either management or the authorities he would happily use physical means. Nino paused at the door of their dressing room leaving the younger man to gently stroke the line of his spine and whisper in his ear that it was going to be okay before he pulled open the door.
Sakurai, Aiba, and Ohno were sitting inside, like they were normally but there was nothing normal about the tense looks that were in all of their faces or the way that their eyes searched theirs. Jun found himself having to push Nino inside and he found himself hating their attitudes as they were seemingly confirming Nino’s worst fears about how they were going to react. Ohno recovered first flashing Nino one of his indulgent smiles from his position on what was normally their shared sofa. Both Aiba and Sakurai were sitting on either side of him now though looking like very photogenic bouncers.
Nino stood in the centre of the floor with his head bowed and his hands clasped tightly in front of him and Jun growled loudly. His lover looked guilty and he refused to allow him to think or act like he had something to be sorry for. The only two people that were at fault was Yamamoto…And by association the kid. He wrapped his arm around the trembling back of his lover and glared at the three older men on the sofa snapping in a soft but deadly voice;
“You can stop acting like this right now or we’re walking out of here…You can ask your questions and whatever Kazu feels like answering he will but if you keep looking at him like he has something to be guilty for we’ll leave…”
“Jun…”
“We’re not…”
“We are…A little but we don’t mean to…” Ohno finished struggling up from his position in between twiddle dum and twiddle dee. He ambled over and stood in front of Kazu his hand coming up to touch under the eye that was bruised. Jun was momentarily surprised but then he remembered that Sakurai would have already told them all that he knew. “Kazu…Sho told us you were beaten up…”
“It was noth…It was…I…It would be easier…If…I’m gay…” Nino spluttered incoherently “I’m sorry…You…You’re grossed out now, right? Me touching you…And…Stuff…”
“Idiot…I already knew you were gay…” Ohno chuckled flicking his nose with his fingertip “It might have been weird when you first started but…I…I miss you when you’re not touching me…You don’t have to worry about that…Um…The person that beat you…They did it because you’re gay?”
“A…Homophobe?” Aiba gasped loudly bouncing up and down on the sofa enough to cause it to let out a cutting squeaking noise and both Jun and Nino shook their heads at the same time.
“N-No…I…Um…Should…Tell you…I…” Nino swallowed looking up at Jun for support, that he gave readily his hand reaching down to link their fingers before leading him away from Ohno and into the chair that had been dragged across and set in front of the sofa like he was about to be put on trial. As there was only one Jun sat down first pulling his lover down onto his lap to allow him to start speaking.
“Nino…”
“Please…Don’t interrupt…” Jun muttered silencing Sakurai with a sharp look squeezing at Nino’s hand and nodding at him. Nino fixed his eyes on a spot on the floor and then began talking slowly and shakily in a soft deadpan voice. He told the other three members everything that Jun already knew and more. Jun felt his stomach churn and twist around as the tale was retold of Nino’s last night with the pig.
Immediately his mind was sent back to the apartment, walking through the room to find his bandmate and friend laying on the floor in a pool of his own blood. When Nino’s voice faded away again the room fell into a crackling silence that was almost painful and Jun felt the need to shout again but Nino stopped him by pressing his face into his neck obviously needing comfort. Jun allowed his arms to slide around his back as he watched the others waiting for them to talk.

I think it's good that Nino finally tells the others, since it's the right time and he needs protection from his other best friends, in a way it might heal him too

My favorite part is when Ohchan said he likes Nino touching him hehe
This part "Nino's anxious eyes searched every turn and doorway..." relates me to Nino in real life as he easily gets startled too (Zero-G making is an example).
I like it when Jun loves kissing Nino hehe, love your description on their kiss too.
