krystalkatzficzKazu found it almost impossible to concentrate on the words that were coming out of the teacher’s mouth. His mind was flashing between overly sentimental as he thought about his perfect weekend to terrifying when he thought what was going to come tomorrow. Masaki was still questioning his sanity about wanting to tell their parents but it was impossible for him to keep it a secret any more. He was deeply in love with Ohno and he knew that Ohno felt the same. His parents had looked at him strangely when he had sat at the table for breakfast…It was like they could tell there was something different about him but they couldn’t put their fingers on it and he was thankful that he and Masaki had darted out of the house as quickly as possible.
“Aiba-kun…Could you explain the answer to question three?” The teacher called out sharply and Kazu jumped around looking at the man that was standing beside his desk his knuckles rapping on the wood. Desperately he looked down at the book again and then at the man before shaking his head.
“No…Sir, sorry…”
“No…I didn’t imagine that you would since you were daydreaming instead of paying attention…I apologise if you find my lessons so dull that you would rather escape into your own mind, I myself would rather be on a beach drinking a vodka and tonic but…I am paid to teach so here we are…” The man said softly, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Maybe you would like to pay attention now? Or would you like to spend an extra hour with me at the end of the day…”
“No! I can’t! I’ll pay attention I promise, sensei…” He said knowing that Ohno would be waiting for him outside the school building. The teacher gave a small smile and inclined his head;
“That’s a pity…But agreeable…As long as you pay attention…”
“…Yes sensei…” Kazu looked back down at the book and picked up his pen determined to stay as focused as possible. Somehow he managed to do so and he was able to leave with the rest of his class though the teacher was grinning at him wickedly.
Outside of the school building he found Ohno and Jun with their car and in spite of everything Kazu found himself growing a lot calmer when he saw his lover. Ohno was looking fantastic with a blue shirt that was open at the neck revealing a patch of tanned skin. He smiled when he saw him and lifted his hand in a wave saying;
“Are you ready my love?”
“No…But we might as well get it over and down with…” Kazu grumbled his arms itching to circle around his lover but he knew that they couldn’t do that here in front of the school. “Hey Jun…”
“Hey, I hear that you had a great weekend…” Jun smiled as he pulled the keys out his pocket and motioned for them to get into the car. Kazu and Ohno sat in the back of the car while Masaki got into the front. Kazu clung to Ohno’s hand hoping and praying that it would all be okay.
