“So…Let me get this straight…You met Sho in a supermarket…Got talking and just sort of happened to fall in love with him without knowing that he was the biological but absentee father of your best friend?” Jun hummed after Masaki had finished his tale and slowly the teen nodded looking down at his hands. He still felt completely miserable but it felt good to actually be able to get some of it off of his chest. “Why didn't you just tell him the truth?”
“I wanted to sensei…So many times…But…I suppose the longer we dated the more that I didn’t think that it mattered…” Masaki whispered knowing that he wasn’t being completely honest. Every time they were together he had heard the nagging voice in the back of his mind telling him that he should tell the truth but he had just hoped and prayed that it would go away “…I mean I thought…I’m graduating in a few months anyway and…I don’t know…I thought if I told him then he wouldn’t care…”
“But then Kazunari showed up out of the blue and you bolted…Telling Sho that it was all his fault because he didn’t tell you that he had a son…” Jun looked tired now as he removed his glasses and rubbed the two marks that had formed on his nose near his eyes and Masaki felt the words cut deep even if they hadn’t been harshly said.
“Yes…Sensei…Sho-chan…Is he really bad?”
“What do you think? Some really sweet, really loving guy suddenly drops out of nowhere and he falls in love only to have them vanish in a puff of smoke…” Jun fixed him with another hard stare placing his glasses back on. He rubbed his chin lightly and cocked his head to one side. “Did his…Fail-y-ness ever bother you? He is rather accident prone…I remember once he tried to light a candle and set his own hair on fire…”
“…I liked it…He seemed perfect…Like some prince from a fairy story but when he tripped over his own feet or arrived to a date with his tie sticking out of his fly it made me realise that he was human…” Masaki whispered closing his eyes while his whole face lit up with his first smile of several days as he remembered his lover hurrying into the restaurant at the edge of town with a light red tie sticking very clearly out of his black trousers. People had been snickering at him but Masaki had loved him all the more for that clumsy side that seemed totally at odds with his professional side “I liked his puffy face in the morning to and how he managed to almost blow up the kettle making me coffee…”
“Oh dear you really have it bad…And to answer your earlier question…He is very bad…Devastated would be more the word…” Jun muttered and immediately the smile was gone from Masaki’s face as he felt tears prickle in his eyes again “In fact I think you and he are about the same…But tell me...Was there more to it? More that you haven’t told me?”
“I…Don’t…Nino…He rang me…He was saying some pretty horrible stuff about his dad…”
“I imagine that he did…He and Sho have never been close but I suppose the few times that they did see each other were enough for Ninomiya to develop a sort of…Bond with the man…I also imagine that it would be hard on anyone to find out that the reason you were born was because of an arranged marriage…But…That’s Nino’s problem and he will find a way of dealing with it in his own way…But…Masaki…I…I think that you should talk to Sho…Tell him the truth and allow him to make his mind up…”
“But…I…”
“But nothing…You are miserable without each other…What have you got to lose?”

A/N: Helpful Jun…I hope that this was okay ^_^
