Satoshi's mouth hung open wide as he looked around at the Elven camp deciding that nothing he could have read would have prepared him for what he was seeing. Pure white Hulla with tall white antlers were frolicking freely around the beautifully painted caravans along with elven children, who were laughing loudly and freely. The adults were less free and were all standing watch their eyes narrowed though he could tell that they were all surprised to see him with their hunter. Satoshi noted that all of the adults greeted Kazunari in a way that made it seem that he had been away from the camp for some time and he wondered if that was the case. It didn’t seem like Kazunari had done much hunting, there was only a small sack on his back along with the staff, magic book, and bow but it was possible that he had interrupted him. Kazunari barely looked at those that spoke to him though keeping his eyes fixed on the floor looking mildly embarrassed, or frustrated, by all of the attention.
Satoshi found himself led into a central circle where a young looking elf with pure black hair that was cut to the length of his shoulder was sitting beside a fire with several small elven children on his lap. They were talking animatedly to him but their voices soon gave way to gasps of fear as they saw him and jumped away going to hide behind the man that stood quickly his hand touching a dark ash staff that had a deep red stone placed into the tip.
“Andaran atish’an keeper…” Kazunari said stopping a few feet away from the other elf and dropped down onto one knee his hand resting over his heart and Satoshi found himself dropping down next to him his head bowed as deeply as he could manage without pressing his face into the dirt realising that this was the keeper…The leader of this clan.
“…Aneth ara, Dah’len…” The dark haired elf said and even without looking up Ohno could tell that the man was smiling fondly at Kazunari. “Who have you brought with you Dah’len?”
“Satoshi Ohno, keeper he is a mage from one of the broken circles…” Kazunari answered swiftly and Satoshi looked up when he felt eyes on him “Satoshi…This is our camp keeper…Sho Sakurai... I found him in the forest yesterday he saved my life today when we were attacked by a demon…”
“I didn’t…I mean I…Helped a little but…You…” Satoshi spluttered his cheeks going a very deep shade of red when all of the elves including the keeper looked at him with deep curiosity. Kazunari on the other hand laughed a little and batted him on the back jerking him forward with so much force his nose hit the chest of the keeper before he could stop himself.
“You saved me, I will never forget it…” Kazunari told him fixing him with a stare that sent not unpleasant shivers throughout his body before he turned back to the keeper “…I know that I do not have the right to ask…But…Please…Let him stay…”
“Dah’len…This is a grave thing…He is an apostate…The Templars would be on us before…”
“From what I have learnt all mages are apostates now…The circles have fallen…he is only one…Or is the life of your younger brother no longer important to you?”
“Kazu…Only you would play that card…” The keeper whispered some of the formality leaving his voice as he chuckled “Fine…He may stay…But on your head be it…”

A/N: Yay more elvish! I promise that Dragon age thankfully doesn’t have that many elven words…It’s similar to Tolkien’s elvish but with different meanings so here goes.
Andaran atish’an – formal greeting meaning enter this place in peace. Used mostly for outsiders.
Aneth ara – Informal greeting meaning ‘My safe place’ used only amongst the dalish themselves.
Da’len – Affectionate name for one of the people meaning Little Child
Shemlen – Crude name for a human meaning Quick Children...Implying that they weren't as long lived
Hulla – a deer/unicorn type creatures that are special to elves very temperamental
There we go J
