On Gossamer Wings part 59
“Masaki…” Kazu said frantically, his hand darting out to grab a hold of his brother’s arm to stop him from entering their home, Masaki turned with a gentle smile on his face his head cocking to one side his eyes asking the question when his mouth didn’t “Isn’t it going to look weird or suspicious? If I tell them that…I’m…And then…I’m asking to spend the weekend with Sensei?”
“You were going to tell them about that?!” Masaki almost shouted his eyes bulging out of his head as his mouth dropped open. Kazu gave a nod a nervous flutter happening inside of his chest as he bit on his lip before asking;
“Why? Wouldn’t you?”
“No! I’d go and enjoy myself and ask you to cover for me!” Masaki answered shaking his head frantically until it looked like a malfunctioning nodding dog “You want to have fun with Ohno-sensei before that…Mum and dad aren’t stupid they’d figure it out…”
“So where would you say I was?”
“I was going to ask Toma if I could stop around at his for the weekend and you could tag along…” Masaki whispered lightly giving him a wicked smile and a wink adding “Toma will keep it a secret…He owes me one…”
“Why does he owe you?” Kazu asked with his head cocked to one side thinking about their mutual friend Ikuta Toma. He was a year younger than they were but they had all been friends for years though Kazu guessed that the only reason was because of Masaki. He had never found it easy to make friends whereas Masaki could talk to anybody and end up being lifelong friends with them.
“I got him a DVD” Masaki mumbled with a wave on the hand and Kazu rolled his eyes knowing immediately that whatever was on the DVD wouldn’t be PG. It was the worst kept secret in the world at their school that Masaki had a very lucrative business in tracking down adult videos. Kazu knew that it was because his brother had no shame in going to buy them and with his height people rarely asked questions.
“Anyway that would be the better option…At least for now…When you and sensei have figured out what you want and if this is serious…”
“Masaki…Why are you being so…cool…about this?” Kazu asked wondering how many people could claim that their brothers were as understanding as Masaki. He was sure that the majority of brothers that he knew would have acted weird around him or at the very least refused to talk to him for a while, not already thought of plans so that he could spend time with his lover. Masaki gave a laugh batting on the back with his large hand saying happily;
“I’m a cool person ne? Come on…Let’s get going…It’s getting cold and we have to put this fish away ne?”
“Yeah…” Kazu swallowed a lump in his throat as he grabbed a hold of the back of his t-shirt holding him tightly as he breathed “Masaki…Thank-you…”
“I’m your big brother, Kazu…” Masaki said turning to face him with his normal happy smile “You don’t have to thank me...Not ever...”
