krystalkatzficzMasako laughed happily as she watched Sho and Toma interacting to the point where they looked like they were having fun. They were playing with Mac as the puppy wagged his tail and yapped at them jumping up and down while trying to catch the sand that was flying around. She was pretty sure that the two men were getting more exercise than the puppy but it was nice to see them getting along. She was aware that Jun had vanished a while ago and, although she was worried about her dad and Ohno having some time alone, she couldn’t blame her friend for being worried not when she wanted to go and make sure that Nino was okay as well. It was hard not to when he had recently been in hospital but when she saw Ohno coming down the long steps she knew better to go charging off and seeing if he was okay. There were things about your father and best friend that you didn’t want to see after all and she knew her father too well to not guess what he and Jun would be doing now.
“Masa…” Sho called pulling her thoughts away from the beach house so she was looking at him again. She giggled happily when she saw the flush in his cheeks and way that he was panting with beads of sweat slowly racing down his face.
“Ha…I knew all your muscles were made of air!” She laughed poking his hard arm, almost shrieking when Sho grabbed her around the waist and easily lifted her up over his shoulder so her bum was sticking out and her face was almost pressed into her lover’s very sweaty back.
“It’s because I’ve got muscle that I’m tired…” Sho laughed lightly tapping her on her backside before spinning her around a few times. Masako really did shriek as she saw the ocean become sand and then back again. Her arms spread out like an eagle and she almost smacked Toma in the face.
“Faster…Faster…” She cried and Sho did as he was told until he stumbled over his own feet and they ended up falling into the soft sand with a painful ‘thunk’. “Ouch…”
“Ma-Ma…Are you okay…?” Sho asked recovering first and climbing off over her and Masako nodded clutching at her stomach where it had been struck by Sho’s face.
“…I’m fine!” She grunted weakly laughing when Mac came over with a big wet tongue lapping at her mouth and nose “Ah! Puppy breath!” She cried pushing the dog aside and sitting up her fingers moving through Mac’s soft hair as Ohno ambled over to them looking like the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders. The severe lines around his eyes had gone and he was back to smiling the same simple easy smile that he always had in her childhood.
“Are you okay, Masako?” He asked reaching down to her and Masako smiled allowing him to help her back to her feet.
“Yup! The ground was soft and I have a hard head…” She laughed tapping her head a few times and Ohno nodded squeezing her hand until he was very nearly painful before he started to apologise with a deeply bowed head and a troubled expression in his eye. She was sure that he had apologised before but this felt more painful for him and more real for her.
“I’m sorry for the way that I’ve been acting and for the way that I looked at you…It was inappropriate and disgusting…I…Was using you…I…I was an idiot…” He said his voice so low that it was almost a growl and Masako swallowed lapping at her lips and giving a very small smile as she said brightly;
“Um…It’s okay…”
“Nope it wasn’t and I’m sorry…I’ve probably already said this to you already but I need you to know that I’m serious…” Ohno denied flatly looking into her eyes so Masako could see the pleading tone that was buried in them “I swear that I would never touch you or even think of you like that and I shouldn’t have looked at you in that way…”
“I know…At the time I felt…Creepy but I know that you wouldn’t do that…” She told him patting his shoulder a few times while beaming brightly at him “So…Let’s forget about it, ne?”
“…Thank-you…”
“Come on Toshi-kun…I bet you can’t catch me…” Toma said slapping him hard on the back of the shoulder before darting away down the beach. Ohno stared at him for a moment in silence and then laughed rolling his eyes before taking off down the beach after him. Masako let out a laugh of her own her body sagging with relief when Sakurai’s arms came around her and he held her tightly his hands resting over her stomach as his mouth came down onto her neck. They stayed that way for a long time watching the two older men chasing each other rather gingerly in the surf. Both men looked a lot lighter than when they arrived and Masako was glad that Toma and Ohno seemed to be willing to try at their relationship.
“Are you okay?” Sho asked against her ear his hand moving up and down her stomach a few times trying to sooth away any aches and pains that she might be feeling.
“Yup…I’m completely fine…Come swimming with me…” She said impulsively looking at the ocean again. Their holiday was almost over and so far they had barely enjoyed any of it. She had barely been swimming and everything had just raced ahead without her. From tomorrow she was going to insist that they spend as much time as possible just relaxing and enjoying themselves but there was nothing stopping her and Jun from starting now. She tugged herself out of his arms and kicked off her shoes and then took off her shorts before heading to the water. “Come on last one in is a rotten egg!” She called as she ran Mac following closely behind leaving Sho to catch up.
She giggled manically as she ran to the water’s and then squealed loudly as the ocean wrapped around her feet. It was warmer than she had been expecting but not so warm that she didn’t give a gasp shivering a little as it moved up her body the deeper she got. Just as it reached her thighs a blur passed her and a splash caused a wave to roll up over her covering almost all of her body in one go. She let out an embarrassingly high pitched scream as the water hit her nipples on its way up to her shoulders and neck. To combat the feeling of cold she dunked fully under the water and waited for her body to adjust before coming back out and glaring at her fiancé who was lazily doing the backstroke in front of her completely stripped to his boxers. He looked completely unaffected by the cold water and Masako threw herself at him landing on his stomach and unsettling his buoyancy and making him sink as a wave rolled over them.
“I think you’re the rotten egg…” Sho teased bobbing her on the bulb of her nose and with his forefinger causing Masako to stick out her tongue and jump on to his back her legs wrapping around his waist her mouth sucking on the lobe of his ear.
“I love you…” She purred and Sho spun around again almost dipping her under the water before jumping forward and trying to swim with her on his back. It was difficult but fun when she started to help him by moving her own arms while Sho did all the leg work “I bet this is how mermaids make love…Well sort of…”
“You have a strange imagination, Ma-Ma but if you want maybe we can try it out at some point…” Sho replied and Masako could telly that he would be blushing furiously while trying to stay calm. She squeezed him more tightly with her legs almost causing them both to sink before Sho put his feet down holding her securely as she twisted around and was now on his front rocking up and down over the front of his very wet boxers feeling him stiffening rapidly even with the cool water.
“It would be more like this, ne?” She purred cupping his cheek and guiding him into a kiss her tongue teasing with his. The thunderous sound of the ocean, crashing and rolling around them was lost as they kissed lapping away the salt from each other’s lips. “I wish we could get married before I went back to school…”
“It would be nice but we can’t…You have to spend a year with your dad and I have to get us a house…” Sho mumbled and Masako pouted pinching at his side saying;
“Hey I will pay too!”
“Of course you will...But until you can…It’s okay…I can wait a year, I’ve waited longer…”
“Me too…”
