Sakurai Sho moved silently through the forest collecting stacks of wood for his furnace. He was a blacksmith and proud of his work even if he was alone for most of his time. He knew that he had a reputation in the clan and he rarely did anything to change it. He had no family, his parents had gone to the stone not much longer after he had been born and he had been raised by a grandfather that had enjoyed cold steel more than company and he had followed suit. There had been no others that had been born around his time and by the time Ohno and Yurrin had come to the clan he was already 120 years older than they were so he had nobody that he could consider a friend. Even now there was only one that would come to spend time with him, Aiba Masaki…The gift from the winter…The clan’s young Ru’inwë. Masaki would come and sit with him as he worked often bringing with him an animal that he was tending. Sho had realised that he was starting to treasure those moments more and more each time they happened before he had realised that he was in love with him.
A soft giggle rang out through the forest and Sho almost dropped the wood recognising it as Masaki’s oh so familiar husky laugh. Looking around for a second or two he tiptoed over the ground following the sound and hoping that he wouldn’t see what he was expecting. Masaki with somebody else. He passed two of the crystal trees and then breathed deep when he saw what could only be have been pulled out of his dreams. Masaki in the river playing around with ducks and swans and laughing as he swam around.
The boy was a vision, almost like a water nymph instead of an elf, he was as naked as the day that he was born with his beautiful sun kissed hair flowing around his shoulders like a cape. Sho breathed out a soft sigh enjoying the moment, even if he had a tender spot for the young Ru’inwë he knew nothing could come out it. Masaki was loved by all of the clan it wouldn’t be long before one of his many admirers claimed his hand as his pure partner. Whoever it was wouldn’t be a simple blacksmith that had nothing to offer him but a surly look and a scowl. That didn’t mean that he would enjoy the smiles while he could.
>Sho!< The boy called and Sho almost fainted his cheeks burning brightly as he realised that he had been spotted by the younger elf. >Sho…? Is everything okay?<
>Y-Yes…I…I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to…Disturb…” He spluttered trying to turn away but Masaki called out to him again his voice as sweet as honey and did something inside of him that he knew he should be cursed for.
>Come and join me! It’s wonderful!” The boy called and Sho prayed to the divine to give him the strength that he needed to breathe. He turned back to the boy whimpering as he saw him waving at him his lithe body dripping with water and glistening in the light. On his shoulder the beautiful blood wine birthmark stood out clearly as did his beautiful little pink nipples that stood out against his sun kissed body. >Come on the water is really nice!<
>No…I…I should be going…< He managed to say even though his tongue felt as if it was sticking to the roof of his mouth. This kind of thing shouldn’t be happening to him, he couldn’t even imagine what he had done to upset the divine moon or the celestial sun this much.
>Aww come on! You work so hard! Nobody would mind if you had a break!< Masaki pouted jumping out of the water and walking over to him completely unashamed of his body though Sho couldn’t deny that the young one didn’t have anything to be ashamed of. He was just as beautiful as he had thought under all his clothes. Sho stayed frozen to the spot his heart hammering out a painful beat against his chest, which only got harder and faster the closer Masaki came, and then he was there directly in front of him the smile on his face far too innocent for the situation. >Come on Sho…Please join me…It would be more fun with you here…<
>That is a thought that not many would share… Ru’inwë…< Sho breathed concentrating on not breathing in the warm fresh scent that was coming up from the younger elf’s skin or the way that the droplets of water were moving down over his body and he was more than determined not to watch them. Masaki let out a laugh his head shaking just enough for some of the water from his hair to land on his face as he said
>Their loss is my gain, Sho…Please join me…< Masaki pleaded and Sho could feel his resistance slipping away as he drooped the kindling down on to the floor. The Ru’inwë’s face let up with his victory and soon hands were helping him to remove his dirty clothing. A bath was long overdue but Sho knew that he wasn’t going to be finding anything relaxing about being in the water with the person that had plagued his dreams for as many years as he had stopped seeing as a youngling and seeing the man that he was. >Wow…< Masaki breathed his breath catching just a little.
>What?< He asked embarrassed when the Ru’inwë’s eyes moved freely over him. He wanted to cover himself but the Ru’inwë was an innocent and he probably didn’t realise what his actions were doing. Masaki smiled a little two spots of colour forming in his cheeks as he shook his head.
>Ah! Nothing! I just thought that you…Have a very beautiful body!< He gasped and Sho blinked rapidly his whole body reacting to his words. >I guess I should have known since all you do is work!<
>Yes…< Sho nodded deeply flattered about his compliment. He was more built than most of the elves in the clan, his body forged over years of working with a hammer but nobody had witnessed it before. Masaki looked him over again and then ran a finger over his chest collecting dirt onto his fingertip
>Dirty work to, ne?< He teased giggling again as he grabbed his hand and pulled him towards to pond >Come on, Sho…I’ll wash you!<
>… Ru’inwë…< Sho almost shivered knowing that he wouldn’t be able to control himself if the hands were moving over him frequently. He managed to smile and nod though he did gulp as he was pulled to the pool Masaki’s animal friends waiting for them. Masaki hopped into the water first causing a mini-wave to crash against the shore as Sho stepped inside a little more carefully. The water was warm against his skin as Masaki had promised as it wasn’t many minutes before he sank into the depths allowing it to circle around him completely. He breathed out a sigh his eyes closing glad that his member had stayed calm and hadn’t given Masaki any reason to be afraid of him. Masaki splashed around for a while his perfect little buttocks poking out of the water like a perfect little peach and Sho flushed again pulling his gaze away and dipping his head almost completely under the water and blowing out bubbles as he listened to the younger elf talking to the animals. It was a deeply pleasant experience, while that they were along it was easy for him to believe that he had won the Ru’inwë’s hand and that they were pure partners.
>Sho…Should I wash your back now?< Masaki asked his voice cutting through his thoughts and slowly Sho nodded his eyes closing as he turned around to allow the younger to begin to wash his back. >Ne, Sho…Can I tell you something?<
>Of course…You can tell me anything…< Sho whispered sighing just a little as the hands moved up and down his spine not expecting the words that came out of the elf’s mouth or the way that they would tear out his heart
>I was asked to be bonded…< Masaki whispered his voice so soft that it was almost lost over the sound of the moving water and Sho swallowed down a lump from his throat as he managed to whisper;
>Oh…Oh…Congratulations…<
>Thank-you! It’s a happy thing right? To be somebody's pure partner?< Masaki asked his hands stalling in his skin and Sho nodded aware that there were tears in his eyes even as he said;
>Yes…Of course it is…<
>But…I don’t love him…In fact…I’m in love with somebody else…< Masaki’s face was pressed into his back his lips brushing against his skin.
>The truth is…I’m in love with you…<
