krystalkatzficz“Nin…” Jun breathed pressing his nose against the hand of the person that he loved, hoping and praying that he would just open his eyes and glare at him the way that he always did. It had been 6 months since the fire, six months of not knowing what had really happened of hearing only stupid rumours and half-truths. Almost everybody but him believed that Nino had purposely lured those girls into the classroom and set fire to them. Even Mrs Kellerman believed it, even if she hadn’t said so out loud, he could tell that she did because she refused to look at his pictures or come into the hospital with him. Every day she would just drop him off and then pick him up. The rest of the school had been moved to neighbouring schools but Jun had been allowed home study as they believed that it was safest for him. “Please wake up Nin…Please wake up and tell them that what they’re saying is wrong…”
“Jun, we have to treat him now…” Danny White, a young male nurse told him gently coming to rest his hand on his shoulder and giving a little squeeze. He had gotten to know Danny pretty well over the last few months and although he looked scary with a huge body and muscles that seemed to be as thick as his entire body he had a gentle heart and had taken care of him a lot while he had been there. “Here…” Danny said handing him a bag with a bottle of fizzy pop, a sandwich from the canteen and a fat blue berry muffin inside “Go wait outside…You don’t want to see…”
“…Okay…” Jun agreed knowing that the bandages around Nino’s legs were about to be removed. It was something that he had accidently seen once had had nightmares for a month thinking about it. All of the skin had appeared to have been burnt away revealing all of his insides. The doctors didn’t even know if he was going to be able to walk again or if the nerve damage was too severe. Jun had thought that they weren’t even trying because Nino was just a murderer to them but Danny had told him that they were doing everything they could. Danny was the only person that Jun thought believed that Nino was innocent and that was because he had sat down with him and listened to Jun’s side of things.
Taking his impromptu lunch out into the garden he immediately regretted it when he almost ran full tilt into Maria Gordon, a reporter that had been almost stalking him for the last six months ever since he had told her to go to hell when they had first arrived at the hospital. It was useless to try and sneak away and so he stood his ground clutching his bag tightly and glaring at her.
“Hello Jun, here again, hmm?” She smiled her bright blue eyes dancing just a little “Stop glaring I’m not here about you today…”
“Oh really?” Jun asked sceptically his eyebrow raised and the woman gave a laugh nodding her head quickly.
“Really…Unless Kazunari has woken up…?”
“No!” Jun huffed gripping his bag and marching over to the bench away from the woman praying that Nino would wake up again.

I can only imagine his suffering, waiting for Nino to wake up... Poor Jun!
Maybe that's the way he feels whenever Nino disappears once and again...
