krystalkatzficzJun smiled down at his lover smoothing his fingers over the molten skin over his hip and thigh, it looked almost like the tail of a mermaid, like they were scales all bubbly and raised like they should be still painful but Jun knew that they hadn’t been painful for years. It was a completely different shade to the rest of his body. He thought that the scars were beautiful but he hated them just as much as Nino did because of what they reminded his lover of. Nobody but him had ever seen these scars and he knew that nobody else would. Nino was his damaged stray cat and no matter what anyone said he was going to be the one that took care of him. He knew the things that his lover was haunted by even though they had moved from England to Japan to get away from them.
Jun knew that Sho knew what happened, the older man had had the same reaction to Nino as Aiba had and had deemed it his job to find out when he first came to him and Jun also knew that he had used his holiday to actually go to England and investigate. Nothing had ever been proven and as Nino had absolutely no memory of the incident he didn’t care. He knew that and he was angry at his PA for what he had shouted him even if he was doing it because he wanted to look after him. He wanted to growl and then fire him to make sure that he stayed as far away from Nino as possible.
“J…” Nino breathed weakly the bed shifting moving and Jun smiled looking down at his lover’s face his fingers brushing down the smooth cheeks before pressing his lips to his nose whispering,
“Hey…Nin’…You’re back…”
“Did I go away again?” Nino asked sounding so heartbreakingly distant that Jun felt his heart thud once painfully and nodded pulling the quilt up around him covering the scars quickly.
“Yup…But you’re back again now…” Jun answered taking his lover’s hands and kissing them both lightly on the palms before pressing them over his face and breathing deep. “I love you, Nin…”
“Un...Me more…” Nino smiled pulling his hands free and motioning for him to come and join him properly on the bed. Jun didn’t need to be told twice climbing up beside him and wrapping his arms around tightly his hands sliding up and down his side. He knew that it was only a matter of time before Nino left him again…It was the pattern with him. His lover couldn’t remember what had happened all those years ago but there was something in him that made him unable to stay. Jun thought that it was guilt…Paralyzing guilt that drove him away. Only in the early years had he questioned where Nino went when they weren’t together but it had only caused arguments and he didn’t want that he just wanted to enjoy his time with Nino. “…I’m sorry…That I’m always going…”
“…Don’t be…Aiba was just being stupid…I promise that he won’t be here…” Jun started but Nino slapped his hand over his mouth his head shaking as he smiled saying;
“Don’t fire him, he’s cute and it’s clear that he adores you...But not enough that I have to be jealous…”
“You never have to be a jealous…I love you and only you always…”
