krystalkatzficz“Jun…What…Happened?” Nino asked quietly when the room had lapsed into a very uncomfortable crackling silence. The younger man looked like he had just done battle with a mountain troll and lost causing him to doubt that anything Jun had to say was going to be good.
“I…Ran away…” Jun answered in a tiny voice before dropping to the floor so fast that Nino was sure that he had fainted. He scrambled out of his chair, ignoring the pins and needles that were running up and down his legs, and ran over to him relieved that Jun had just crouched down in a half foetal position with his hands over his head rocking himself slowly from side to side. Nino knelt down beside him and lay a gentle hand on his back stroking him gently while waiting for him to tell him what had happened. “I was so nervous…I got there and…Nee-chan was messing around saying I look guilty and well she started by saying I had got someone pregnant and then that the rumours about me and Mao-chan were true…”
“Ah…I see…” Nino sighed cursing himself for feeling a shot of jealousy run up and down his spine at the mention of Inoue Mao. He didn’t mean to let it affect him, in fact it would normally just roll over him like water on a ducks back, but he imagined that Jun’s family wouldn’t mind somebody like that for their son.
“So I just blurted out that I was bisexual and dating you…” Jun told him sounding miserable as he started rocking again “Dad dropped his sake and mum dropped the vase of flowers and I just ran, I didn’t even realise that I was coming here until I got here…Oh god…It had to be the most horrific thing I’ve ever done…”
“It’s always hard…But now I bet they’re more worried about you than what you told them…” Nino said imagining the Matsumoto’s panicking as they watched their clearly distort son walk away. Even if they didn’t approve they would be worried.
“Shit…” Jun swore looking up for just a moment letting Nino see the tears that had pooled in his eyes and the way his bottom lip was trembling.
“Let me have your phone…” Nino whispered stroking his arm now, his fingers running gently up and down the bare skin “Okay?”
“Why what are you going to do?” Jun asked suspiciously but still handed his phone over and Nino kissed his arm before searching through his lover’s contacts both amazed and happy that his phone was under the ‘significant other’ category.
“I’m going to phone your mum and tell her that you’re okay and then we’re going to go back over there…Together okay?” He said finding the number that he wanted while Jun came alive all at once grabbing a hold of his arm and squeezing it tightly as he frantically shook his head screeching;
“What? No…They were so shocked…”
“And so would I be if you’d blurted it out like that, now ssh…” Nino smiled placing a finger over his lover’s lips as the phone buzzed for a minute and then a worried woman started speaking very quickly;
“Jun? Are you okay?”
“Matsumoto-san…It’s Ninomiya Kazunari…Jun’s with me…” He said smiling as he traced the lips under his finger almost glad at how concerned the older woman sounded.
“Is he okay?”
“In a state of shock but I’m bringing him back over we’ll be there soon…”
