“Wanted sugar daddy…”
“You can’t put that!” Aiba Masaki hissed his eyes bulging out of his head as he looked at his best friend, Ninomiya Kazunari, who had been reading the advert that he had placed in the magazine. Nino shrugged ignoring what he was saying his eyes moving over the advert. It wasn’t all that bad really not compared to some of the others that were there and it wasn’t as if he was actually hoping for any response it was just his way of trying to appease his mother and trying to convince her that he was looking for a date without actually going out and having to mingle. “What if a creep rings up?”
“Then my, oh sweetest of friends I can turn them down…” Nino said his eyes moving over the page his eyes falling to the one in the bottom corner. ‘Mature Artistic Man seeks younger man for companionship’ it looked as if it was written in by a man in his sixties but the more he read it sounded as if it had been written by somebody else. ‘Cute…Chubby faced but well built, sleepy but fun…Must be good with children no time wasters…’ “Doesn’t that look like a kid wrote it?” He asked pointing at the Ad and Aiba sighed shaking his head and peering at the paper nodding slowly.
“You going to ring?” Aiba asked with a raised eyebrow a faint smile tugging at his lips and Nino gave a growl stuffing the paper down onto the counter snapping;
“Why would I? I was just saying…This is all just to stop mother from complaining…”
“Okay, okay...So…You really think aunty will be happy with this?” His friend asked in a pacifying tone and Nino ground his teeth together his eyes narrowing sharply.
“This is all your fault! If you hadn’t gotten married mother wouldn’t be trying to pressurise me into doing it…Why would I want to get married anyway? I’m happy enough” He huffed dropping down into his gaming chair his arms folding across his chest biting on his lip and glaring out at the largest of his TV’s. He wasn’t just saying that, he was happy enough and, even if he did say it himself, he owned a pretty successful business that was making him millions every week why would he want to mess all that up just because his mother thought he was lonely.
“Sorry for falling in love!” Aiba giggled punching him on the arm and Nino let out a snarl moving away from him and saying sulkily
“So you should be…Urgh! What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn’t you still be enjoying your new found wedding bliss or has the bubble already burst?”
“Of course not! Sho-chan is a very intense and skilful lover…But he was called into work and I thought you would be lonely since I’ve moved out” Aiba told him and Nino gave another hiss his arms crossing over his chest and looking around the apartment that, only in the privacy of his own mind he would admit, was too big and quiet for one person alone and he had almost wept with relief when he had seen his friend but that didn’t mean he wanted a lover.
“Well I’m not…I was enjoying the peace…” He mumbled “I can walk around naked and drink the orange juice out of the carton…”
“I did anyway…” Aiba shrugged causing Nino to launch himself at him hitting and smacking at his arms and chest with very little real strength in his attacks as he raged at him;
“That’s just gross! You’re a sick man!”
“Hehe, Sho-chan likes me to walk around naked now…He does it too…” Aiba giggled happily fending off his attacks easily by holding him tightly around the wrists all of his extra height and weight coming in handy.
“Remind me to never sit anywhere in your apartment!”

“Wanted Sugar Daddy…” Ohno Satoshi read watching his son’s face screw up and his head shake from side to side as he tackled the very simple breakfast of rice and soup. Ohno chuckled softly at his reaction but went on to read the full ad. Young professional man seeks mature man for fun possibly more. “It’s not actually that bad…” He hummed much to his own surprise as Jun’s and his cheeks flushed a little. He hadn’t even wanted to sign up for the lonely hearts magazine but his son had twisted his arm and had even written out his Advert. Artistic man seeks similar. So far there hadn’t been any phone and if he was honest he wasn’t expecting any but he didn’t want to tell his 10 year old son that. “I mean the Ad…It’s not as bad as some…I think he was just playing around…”
“So ring him!” Jun said after swallowing down his soup getting to his and hurrying around to his side of the table and peering at the Ad through glasses that were clearly the wrong prescription of his eyes. “…Hmm professional? Does he mean like a hooker?”
“Wha-!” Ohno gulped his coffee down trying to stop himself from spraying it all over the table as he stared at his son “No! I don’t think he means that at all…”
“So phone him!” Jun hissed already hurrying to grab the phone from the side and Ohno shook his head quickly his cheeks getting even brighter as he tried to work out what it was that he had to offer somebody that was young and professional. He was a 37 year old failing artist that was working as a painter and decorator with a ten year old son. The only reason that he had agreed to be signed up for the magazine in the first place was because Jun had badgered him into it after coming home from his weekend with his mother.
“What…No…I couldn’t…” He stammered but Jun wasn’t listening to him and was already dialling the number for the call boxes shrugging a little as he said;
“You could give it a try…What’s his number?”
“Um…1487…” Ohno answered watching as his son skilfully typed in the number and waited for the ringing to end before he passed the phone over. Ohno’s mind went blank as he gripped the cold plastic of the phone trying and failing to think of something to say “Um…I…Your…Profile…I read it…Um…Mine is…Um…Eh…Uhm…Bottom one on the corner…!”
“What the hell was that!?” Jun screeched after he had hung up and Ohno had to admit that he felt like pressing his face into the bowl of lukewarm soup an never coming back up for air. “Now he’s never going to call! You did it on purpose…Anyone would think you liked being miserable!”
“…I didn’t mean it…I just got flustered…It would have been a long shot anyway…” Ohno mumbled trying to ignore the faint trace of disappointment and annoyance that he now had in his heart. Of all the ad’s that he and Jun had searched through there had been something oddly appealing about that one.
“Well it will be now! He’s going to think you’re a moron!” His son continued to rant his foot tapping against the floor and his arms over his chest. “I wrote that you were mature!”
“Hey! I’m still the adult here…” Ohno said unconvincingly raising his voice as he got to his feet almost paling when he saw the time “Come on you have school and I have to get to the widow’s…”
“Urgh! You shouldn’t have to go there! She sucks!” Jun moaned grabbing his bag from the side and taking the sparsely packed lunchbox that was made up of leftover’s from dinner last night and an apple that was already starting to go wrinkly. “You should be allowed to paint…”
“Painting doesn’t pay the bills…” Ohno sighed grabbing his keys and ushering him out the door keeping his mind off of the advert.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“You have six new messages to your ad” The robotic voice informed him as he punched in his code and Nino had to admit that a little wave of excitement did pool up inside of him. He might not be looking for the domestic bliss kind of life that Aiba had but there were days when your hand just didn’t cut it. “Click one to hear first message…”
“Might as well…” He mumbled clicking the number one and instantly regretting it when a deep panting voice filled his ear. It was the kind of voice that sounded as if they were already having sex while phoning and it sickened him
“Hey baby, I read your ad…I could be your sugar daddy…” The man purred and Nino tried not to gag hastily deleting the message. The next two were similar and then the fourth was completely different a tiny sleepy ad terrified voice piped up;
“Um…I…Your…Profile…I read it…Um…Mine is…Um…Eh…Uhm…Bottom one on the corner…!” Before beeping once and then twice cutting him off and Nino’s eyes knitted together as he pulled the paper to him and scanned the classifieds his eyes settling on the two in the corner at the bottom. The one on the right was an 18 year old looking for fun but the one on the left was the profile that had been written by the kid. His heart jumped again and he slowly ran his tongue over his lips wondering if it was possible that it would be him. The 18 year old sounded cocky already but the other one had a nervous edge to it. He swallowed down a hard lump of nerves from his throat and then looked around the spacious apartment needlessly making sure that he was alone as he typed in his code to reply to the mature artist seeking similar.
“Hey, I just got your message…I was looking at yours to…My online profile is NinoStar…Hope to hear from you…” He said back glad that he didn’t sound as nervous as the other man and then quickly set about updating the magazines online profile deciding to use the publicity shot from his latest game as his picture. It was a simple face shot but he rather liked the way they had gotten his hair to flip down over his eyes in a seductive way.
*~*~*~*~*~*
“He replied!” Jun screeched as soon as he walked into the apartment waving around the phone almost jumping up and down as he hoped from foot to foot “He gave you his profile name!”
“What…Who?” The older man asked kicking off his shoes wishing that he could do the same for his aching feet. The widow had had him painting and repainting her bedroom claiming that he had missed bits. Jun rolled his eyes but thankfully let him sit down before thrusting the phone in his face and saying;
“The guy from the magazine! Listen!”
“…He really replied…” He whispered after the message had come to an end unable to believe it “Why?”
“I don’t know! Maybe he’s just as weird as you! Come on!” Jun answered brightly pulling him over to the ancient computer in the corner. It had already been booted up and his profile page was flickering on the screen and he looked at his son with a raised eyebrow. Jun just grinned, completely unashamed, as he typed in the user name the other man had given him. “Tada!” his son gasped when the picture and profile finally came up and Ohno’s mouth almost dropped to the floor. The man was amazing to look at, thin and young with teased black hair and deep, almost black, eyes. His mouth was thin and he was looking at the camera in a way that made you feel he was looking directly at you and Ohno had to admit that his lower half twitched with excitement and he shifted awkwardly on the chair
“This…This can’t be his right? Not really…Wow…He’s…”
“Ninomiya Kazunari!” Jun shouted excitedly grabbing a hold of his arm and squeezing it so hard that nails sank into the flesh as his free hand was moving the mouse to click on the other photos along with another where his user name was written on his hand. “Look it’s really him!”
“Who’s he?” Ohno asked trying to work out if it was some kind of celebrity that he hadn’t paid attention to. Whoever he was looked like a model while at the same time remaining cute with a teasing glint in his eyes.
“He made that game that you liked…The one about the Ice princess…” Jun said again hoping from foot to foot his hand still not releasing his arm. “You have to message him! And now!”
