“Some body guard you are!” Ninomiya Kazunari hissed holding up a bloody finger and his body guard, Sakurai Sho rolled his eyes a little his heart relaxing and his hand moving away from the gun under his coat. When he had heard the cry from his boss’s lover he had feared the worst and had feared what the leader would do if the brat had gotten injured or kidnapped. It wasn’t a happy image…In fact it was truly terrifying and Sho gulped taking the first aid box from the side and quickly going over to him. It was only a paper cut, and not even a very big one at the base of his finger but if left untreated he could only imagine his boss’s anger. Ohno Satoshi hadn’t become the head of the organisation just on a whim after all. The man had climbed through the ranks slowly starting out as a sort of alley cat before becoming the man that he was today.
“I apologise, Ninomiya-sama…” Sho whispered bowing as he opened up the first aid kit and pulled out an antibacterial wipe and the smallest plaster he could find knowing that even that was too big for the wound on his finger as he added in his head ‘But…It’s only a paper cut…I can’t imagine how I would have protected you from that…’ It was something that he would never say out loud though not even to any of the other members of staff away from the building knowing that no matter what it would get back to his boss.
“You don’t like me do you?” The boy asked with a smirk and Sho kept his face impassive as he wrapped the plaster around the wound. He had no personal feelings on the matter whatsoever, he had no idea where the boy had come from, he had just appeared one day with the boss and had never left, and he hadn’t asked. From a professional stand point the boy was a burden and a risk. Ohno acted foolishly over him sometimes so much so that he put others at risk but at the same time having the boy here had the opposite effect, Ohno was much more relaxed with him around and less inclined to use people as a punching bag. He looked at the boy and felt a great amount of sympathy for him…After all how bad did your life have to be before Ohno Satoshi was your one shot at happiness? The boy had been an addict when he had arrived and had undergone a detox here in this very room. It hadn’t been pretty and several times Sho had been sure that the boss would kill the boy as he had hit out at him swearing and cursing but it had never happened. Ohno had just sat behind him holding him tightly and telling him that the pain would end soon. Half of Sho’s job now was to make sure that the boy never went near anybody that could be considered a bad influence. The list of people that Ohno didn’t consider a bad influence was smaller than the one that he did so the boy was kept as a virtual shut-in in the house. As part of his job he had tried to find out about the brat but so far everything he had tried had failed no matter what he did Ninomiya Kazunari didn't exist.
“I don’t dislike you…” He mumbled rolling the rubbish up into a ball and dropping it into the little bin at the end of the desk.
“Liar…” Nino said letting out a laugh pulling his hand away “Everybody hates me…”
“I don’t…” A soft voice said behind them and Sho felt his flesh crawl at the sound. It was the same kind of voice that he had heard time and time again before the clicking of a bullet of the crunching of bone against bone. They turned together Sho’s expression staying as impassive as he could while Nino’s broke into the first genuinely happy smile that he had seen all day. He could understand why somebody would fancy his boss, he was a straight married man but he could see it, cute handsome face and small but perfectly toned body yes he could see it if you only looked at the outer package “I love Nino-chan…”
“Oh-chan! Welcome home!” Nino cried happily beaming at his lover who smiled in return his eyes moving over the small form.
“…Nino…You hurt yourself?” Ohno asked gently a concern expression on his face and, no matter how many times Sho had to be amazed by the difference, normally his boss was an intense, ruthless and downright cruel man but the moment he was in sight of his lover he turned into something that resembled a marshmallow puppy. It was a strange transformation and Sho was almost glad that he was normally the only one of the members of staff that saw this side of him. Nino nodded holding up his plaster wrapped finger and looking like the world had come to an end. Sho almost rolled his eyes at the action, almost he knew more than even his lover what his boss was capable of if he thought that he or his lover were being slighted, as Ohno opened his arms “Come here and I’ll kiss it better…”
“I knew you would!” Nino grinned bouncing over to him and Sho caught himself just as he was about to sigh picking up the coat that Ohno had just thrown to the chair. The boss held the hand and then lightly brushed his finger with his lips the smile on his face would have been endearing if it wasn't for the fact that only yesterday Sho had seen his boss almost kick a guy to death. “That feels better already…”
“Good…Have you had fun today?” Ohno said casually and Sho knew that he was being ignored and pretty much told to leave.
“Hmm…Yup” Nino confirmed and Sho wondered if he really considered being almost locked away in here fun. The pair walked to the porch and sat down as Sho put away the first aid box and headed out to the door “I played on the Game Station…What about you?”
“…I worked…It wasn’t as interesting…” Ohno answered slowly pulling his little lover into his arms and again Sho had to fight a shiver that came from listening to the soft voice. He wasn’t sure what his boss’s day had been like but he was sure that it had been even bloodier than the zombie game Nino had played. He left the room and hurried towards his own section of house dreading if anything ever happened to the boss’s lover.
The End/TBC
