I wanted to kiss you part 2

"Oh fuck this is so, so wrong!" Nino thought aloud as he began pacing backwards and forwards outside his band mate's apartment wondering why he had agreed to this. Wasn't this kind of taking advantage? He wondered biting his lip asking himself for the millionth time why he'd agreed to this. Even if Jun saw no harm in it what the hell was it going to do to him? To kiss Jun would be amazing but it was going to hurt worse than being kicked in the balls when it was all over and he was going to have to act like nothing happened. "Oh fuck..."

"Nino? What's up?" Jun asked with a frowned and Nino's head whipped up and around, surprised that it wasn't coming from the door but instead the stairs.

"J...um..." He stammered unsuccessfully trying to keep his voice steady.  mentally he cringed but by some kind of miracle kept his face straight while Jun asked;

"What were you swearing about?"

"...You...I thought you said you'd be in..." He said managing to sound convincing enough to make Jun frown and hold up a tote bag saying;

"Sorry, you said you wanted me to cook for you...I didn't have anything in..."

"Oh..." Nino mumbled finally taking in the details of what he was wearing. A baseball cap, unfashionable puffer style jacket and there was a face mask resting against his throat the perfect disguise for moving freely around stores. "Right...okay...so...let us in then..." He mumbled without apologising and he only just caught the eye roll that Jun gave him as he pulled out his key and unlocked the door.

"There you go 'oh demanding one'..." Jun murmured bowing as he ushered him inside.

"Shut up princess..." Nino clicked his tongue and marched forward ignoring the butterflies that were holding a disco in his stomach. this was the worst idea anyone had ever had, and since he was friends Aiba that was saying a lot, his mind was telling him as he kicked his shoes off untidily into the corner and then strolled into the open plan living room kitchen that was separated by two antique wooden room dividers. "So how do you want to do this?"

"Nino, are you sure you're okay with this?" Jun asked padding over to the kitchen section and putting the bag down on the table "If you think this is too awkward..."

"Awkward? Why would I think it was awkward?" The shorter man asked trying to sit calmly on the a of the chair desperately trying to push away his misgivings while his brain was screaming 'of course this is too awkward! I'm in love with you!' Telling the voice to be quiet he did his best to smile and ask "Why would you think I thought it was awkward?"

"I dunno...maybe because you're acting as jumpy as a cat on a hot tin roof..." Jun answered almost sarcastically as he gave a shrug leaning against his table and folding his arms across his chest. Nino silently cursed his heart flipping over as Jun did that weird pouting angry face, the one that he did so well and Nino was so weak against and letting out a sigh his scrapped his fingers through his hair hoping that Jun would mistake his expression of long for irritation as he said;

"Okay, it's little weird having to kiss your friend..."

"You kissed Toma..." Jun grumbled and Nino knew that it was too much to hope that the growl in his voice was due to jealousy.

"We were kids I hadn't known him as long as I've known you!" Nino pointed out, not to mention I was only with Toma because I was young and having fun.
"Look, you asked I answered...I just said it was a little awkward...I didn't say I didn't want to do it...So...how bout you make that dinner you promised and I'll grab a beer..." He smiled trying to defuse the situation looking hopefully at the fridge knowing that Jun kept some even if he didn't really drink it unless he was in a bar.

"Okay...thanks Nino..." Jun smiled and Nino nodded knowing that there was no way that he could turn back now. Even Alice had never come this far down the rabbit hole.

Hehe my nephew does it all the time because his parents don't swear in front of him so when I accidentally do it he says very helpfully 'you mean duck auntie!'
