krystalkatzficz“I can’t believe you’d just go into his bedroom while we were there…” Jun hissed as the three walked in the direction of Masako’s house. An annoying voice in the back of his mind was determined to remind him that he and Masako had taken advantage of the time alone and enjoyed it too but he ignored it.
“Oh…You were pretty vocal yourselves…” Nino snapped back his cheeks flushing just a little and Jun almost choked in embarrassment. Sending a glare at his blissfully unaware girlfriend he slowed down any other follow up retort he may have had though any anger faded away quickly enough when his brother asked in a soft voice “Are you satisfied now? That he isn’t just some old pervert…He isn’t you know…”
Jun thought about it long and hard, his mind going over all of the things that he had heard and seen, he still felt it very inappropriate that a man of Ohno’s age could date a student but it was obvious that it wasn’t just a fling, everything in the apartment screamed ‘ours’ not ‘mine’ like it was just waiting for Nino to move in with him. There was also the things that Ohno had said making him realise that no Ohno wasn’t just some old pervert there was a lot of love between the two.
“I know…I still think it’s weird…But he doesn’t seem as bad as I thought…” He admitted and was rewarded by smiles from both his girlfriend and Nino.
“I really like him! He’s sweet and looks after Nino-chan…” Masako giggled her hand, which was holding tightly to Nino’s, swinging wildly until she gave a loud yelp as Nino growled with a blush in his cheeks;
“I don’t need looking after…”
“Yes you do…Everybody does…” Masako said as cheerfully as ever clearly not listening to anything that anyone else had to say. Jun personally agreed, Nino was the surliest person he had ever know but he needed looking after more than anyone else he had ever known. “Seriously I like him and it’s clear that he adores you, it’s so cute!”
“You’re such a fujoshi sometimes…” Nino sighed rolling his eyes and Jun had to agree, Masako had all the makings of a fujoshi and he should have known that this was the perfect situation for her though he was finding it creepy that she was more than likely dreaming about his brother and boyfriend.
They didn’t spend long at Masako’s but instead left her on the doorstep and then walked towards the closest bus stop in silence until Nino asked in a small voice;
“Honestly, J, what do you think of my Oh-chan?”
“Does it matter?”
“…yes…you’re my brother your opinion matters to me…” Nino mumbled and Jun blinked in surprise he never expected an answer like that more so since Nino sounded so sincere and the expression on his face was one of complete honesty. He swallowed giving a little shrug his fingers nervously moving through his hair as he gave his honest answer;
“…I don’t know him well enough to like him but if he treats you when you’re alone as well as he does today then I have no problem with it…”
“He normally treats me better…He was very shy today…” Nino grinned happily and Jun rolled his eyes wondering just how sappy the couple would be if they were alone “What do you think mum and dad would think of him?”
“What? Why?!” He shouted smacking the smaller teen on the arm “Are you planning on telling them?”
“…I was thinking about it…” Nino answered with an affirmative nod rubbing his arm as they reached the bus stop. “They deserve to know the truth…”
“You’re crazy!” Jun hissed staring at him in disbelief and Nino half nodded half shrugged pulling his bus pass out of his pocket and playing around with it.
“They’ll find out eventually…They might as well know it from me directly…” He mumbled as the buss came into view and Jun had to admit that hearing about it from Nino rather than some crazy person would be a lot better but he couldn’t imagine his parents taking it very well. Their dad as well as their mum was overly protective when it came to their kids and he could remember the reaction when their sister brought home her boyfriend. They had given her the third degree that had lasted for weeks “This isn’t just some passing fling, I’m going to be with Oh-chan for the rest of my life…”
“You sound certain of that…” Jun wasn’t surprised though by his brother’s certainty the pair already felt married…It was like their parents, even from what little he had seen he could tell they knew how to read what each of them was thinking
“I am because I love him…But you’re my family so…”
“Hey don’t start doing that thing again…” The slightly younger man growled pushing him up the step of the bus towards the driver who was waiting expectantly.
“What thing?” Nino asked flashing his pass to the man behind the glass as Jun did the same. They managed to find a seat at the front and sat down cramped in to the little plastic seats with useless sponge covers that just made it all more uncomfortable.
“The thing where you start doubting that you’re a part of the family…” Jun growled nudging him in the stomach with his elbow. “You’re family…”
"I know...but Oh-chan is my family too..."
"Yeah I'm beginning to realise that, I still wish you and he had waited a little though..."
"Say that to yourself about you Masako...you're the one that's planning to ask her to marry you..."
"What?" Jun almost screeched his face going a sunset red as he looked at he brother causing the other passengers to stare at him. He smiled apologetically and then in a much quieter voice asked "How did you know about that?"
"I heard you practicing in the bathroom mirror..." Nino admitted off hand and Jun was positive that he was about to faint with embarrassment. It was true that he want to ask Masako but he knew that if he did it could impact her whole future dreams. Very few people were going to support a married model or tv host, it ruined the pure image that people wanted. Masako was working too hard on her dream for him to throw a spanner in the works like that "trust me just go for it she's been planning your wedding since you met..."
"That's impossible...we didn't start dating until a year after..." Jun fumbled around a little for words still horrified that his practice had been over heard and Nino gave out a loud laugh shrugging.
"And since when has a little detail like that stopped Masako? Masako believes in forward thinking, she fancied you right from the word go..." Nino told him and Jun had to admit he was surprised by that he had never gotten that impression until he had actually asked her. "It was so obvious that it became annoying that I actually asked her when she was going to do something about it..."
"I asked her out..." Jun blurted out determined to make that know for some reason and Nino shrugged again.
"Yup but I think she was pretty close to asking you...So why not just go for it...?"
"It's not exactly that simple..." Jun mumbled wondering how the hell the conversation had come round to this. He and Nino never spoke like this but then given everything that was happening around them right now they had gotten closer. Nino gave another shrug staring at the safety poster that was in front of them muttering;
"I asked Oh-chan and our situation is even less simple than yours..."
"What? What did he say?" Jun asked guessing that it was something good by the gentle happy smile that crept up over his brother's lips.
"He said that if it was possible he would marry me in a heartbeat...that was all the answer that I could hope for..." Nino almost whispered and Jun gave him a smile reaching over and squeezing his hand a little happy for him even if he thought that this thing was still stupidly risky.
"You're worried that you could ruin her future right? But the problem is you are her future...or at least the only future she wants has you in it...yeah she wants to be a model but you and her can do that together...after all you're going to be a famous photographer aren't you?"
"That isn't easy..." Jun stuttered his cheeks flushing brightly not used to praise from his brother.
"Again stop being so negative..." Nino mumble looking out of the window as he mumbled "your photos are good...don't waste that...and don't you dare make Masako upset..."

Thanks for sharing! The Matsumiya relationship in this fic is so sweet and wonderful <3 I'm always amazed how great you can write your OTP as BFF and Ohmiya as main (I think I already mentioned that a couple of times ^^y but it's true!)
