krystalkatzficz"We should go back..." Nino said chewing on her lip while looking at Jun nervousness inside her heart. Not that she thought Aiba would hurt her baby in anyway but it wasn't fair for them to be out and about enjoying themselves while Amaterasu was all screaming and uncomfortable. Even though Aiba had offered to look after her it wasn't fair on him either, he had no idea what to do if she started screaming because of the colic. "Shouldn't we?"
"No, we should enjoy the time we've been given..." Jun told her softly his hand coming around her arm to tug her into the warm crook of his arm kissing the top of her head and Nino wanted to relax into the embrace, she really did, but the tight painful knot of anxiety that was in her throat didn’t want to leave her.
"But we barely see her as it is..." She whispered pathetically wondering if she was a bad mum because she wanted to be away from her daughter when they barely spent time with her during the day. “J…We should…”
“Kazuna…Calm down…” Jun sighed his arm snaking around her shoulders holding her tightly into his body and tugging her away from the path of the park and into a little groove next to a bench. There was a little street light that cast a little yellow light over their faces causing Nino to think that Jun looked a little pallid with deep tired shadows under each eyes “We’ve both been too tired recently to think straight, we’re not bad parents just because we have one night away from our little princess…I promise…”
“…But…”
“Kazuna…” Jun sighed tugging her into a hug and kissing her lightly. Their tongues tangled for a moment until they heard a little whoop and saw some teenagers gawping at them. Nino blushed hoping and praying that neither of them were recognised that was the last thing that they needed but Jun just grabbed her hand and tugged her away their fingers linking as comfortably as always “Come on...It’s only for one night, let’s enjoy it while we can…We’ll be back in the apartment with a screaming baby and stinky nappies soon enough…”
“Fine…I just hope that Aiba doesn’t get too stressed out over Amaterasu screaming at him all night…” Nino smiled a little biting on the inside of her cheek, hoping that her friend would cope with what it really meant to look after her darling princess. “So…Where are we going?”
“I thought that we could go to karaoke…Like our first date…” Jun suggested and Nino grinned nodding a little as she tucked into his body trying to push away the feeling of guilt that she was just abandoning her while she had fun but she had to admit she was looking forward to it.
“You’re such a sappy romantic aren’t you?” She said slipping her arm through his and Jun chuckled dropping a light kiss on the top of her head saying;
“And don’t you love it?”
“A little…” Nino agreed with a nod happy to be led towards the same building that they had gone to for their first nerve wrecking date. It hadn’t been that long ago but it felt like years since then and Nino tried to remember when they had last managed to get out just them and if she was honest she couldn’t.
Somehow they managed to get the same room that they had been that first date and they spent the next three hours singing, eating and drinking strange fruit drinks that were thankfully free from alcohol. Breast feeding as she was she didn’t want to risk having alcoholic drink at all and Jun had given it up in solidarity but that didn’t matter to them they were both ‘High on life’ laughing and joking singing other Johnny’s songs in stupid voices before realising what the time was and that they should start heading home. They walked back slowly through the park holding each other tightly and Nino wished that they could do this with Amaterasu there in her buggy but there was no chance that could happen. The only time they would be able to do that is when they went away together in two months. They were leaving Japan and heading into obscurity so she hoped that they could actually take their princess out and about together as a couple. She couldn’t wait for it even if she normally hated going away.
It was exactly 1 minute past 12 when they reached their apartment door and Nino pulled out her key giggling a little when Jun’s hand pulled down the zipped of her skirt and slipped his hand inside splayed out over her hip.
“You’re so beautiful…” Jun purred lightly against her ear even though they both knew it was impossible for them to get any real action tonight even if it was possible they were both too tired to more than kiss and cuddle.
“Masa…?” Nino called out as she opened the door of their apartment while Jun was holding her tightly from behind his mouth attached to her neck. “Masa…” There was no answer and Nino frowned a little batting away Jun’s hand, her eyes knitting together as she kicked off of her shoes and walked into the apartment the sounds of soft snores reaching her ears. She walked forward and stopped dead when she saw the sight on the sofa. “So much for their argument…” Nino whispered over her shoulder at Jun jerking her head with a smile.
“Well it really was a transparent lie, ne?” Jun sighed softly and Nino nodded rolling her eyes and moving forward to get a better view. Aiba’s head was resting against the shoulder of his lover and Sakurai’s head was resting on top of his. Amaterasu was settled carefully between them her dark black eyes blinking up at her.
“Hey baby…Have you been a good little princess for your uncles?” Nino asked softly reaching out and taking care not to disturb her two friends who were snoring lightly their chests raising and falling at the same time. Amaterasu let out a coo as she nestled into her body and Nino pressed a kiss to the top of her daughter’s head her smile getting wider as she felt the warmth nestled against her. It was true that she had enjoyed her date alone with her husband but she had to admit that she liked moments like this just as much. Nino tiptoed away from the sofa singing softly under her breath as Jun came out of the walk in linen cupboard with a cover “I’ll see you in the bedroom…”
“Okay…” Jun nodded kissing her lips gently his hand running up and down her back before they separated with smiles on their faces and went in the opposite directions. Nino kicked the bedroom door open babbling to Amaterasu as she placed her down on the bed and set about getting all the things that she would need to change her. Her breasts were aching with the need to feed her princess and Nino stripped out of her clothes tossing them into the basket in the corner of the room watching over her baby to make sure that she didn’t roll off.
“Come on then little princess” Nino cooed stripping the baby girl out of the blue stripped baby grow and quickly changing the very heavy looking nappy “Your daddy and I went on a date tonight, we had fun but we missed you…Ah…What a stinky bum you have…How does something so perfect make something so gross?” She chuckled grabbing a hold of the tiny feet that were waving around and trying to slide the clean nappy under her bum as she wiggled around just a little “It’s lucky I love you little girl…I do…I love you, so, so much….”
Managing to get the nappy on she next tugged on her Tigger sleeping outfit and then sat on the bed her back propped up against the head board gently bringing her princess up to nipple and Amaterasu latched on drinking deeply as Nino closed her eyes letting out a happy sigh as her body relaxed completely.
“It’s amazing how many time someone can fall in love with a person” Jun mumbled and Nino opened an eye looking up at her husband almost embarrassed by the flush that was in his cheeks and the way that his eyes were roaming over her body. Nino rolled her eyes and motioned for him to join her in the bed. As soon as he did Nino rearranged herself on the bed so her back was resting against Jun’s chest and her head was tucked under his chin. Jun’s arms came around her and together they both let out happy sighs enjoying the peace and quiet after the perfect date.
“We have incredible friends” Nino announced and Jun nodded kissing the top of her head. Amaterasu released her nipple and stared up at them both gurgling a little and Nino gasped positive that she was giving them a bright if milky grin. “She’s smiling!” She hissed nudging Jun in the stomach. “She’s smiling at us!”
“I see it” Jun said with laugh his hand coming up his finger stroking up and down their princess’ cheek “It’s so beautiful…Just like yours…”
“It’s like yours…” Nino denied a lump forming in her throat as tear’s spring up in her eyes even though she couldn’t explain why. She pressed her lips to the girl’s forehead and then relaxed against Jun again her eyes closing “The perfect end to a surprisingly perfect day…”
“Yup…”
“…Seriously who knew that a secret could be so perfect…?”
