Lord Ohno's Home part 28

krystalkatzficz“So you are going home?” Aiba asked the next morning as Nino piled his clothing into the box that he had brought with him only a week ago. He gave a nod and a smile folding more of his clothes before he could give an answer,
“Yes, I cannot see the point of staying here now that the truth is out...”
“How do you feel about it though? Do you feel ready?” Aiba asked holding him by his shoulders stopping him from working so they could look at each other in the face. Nino allowed himself the smallest of sighs dropping the night robe that he had been handling and rubbing his forehead. Honestly he wanted to scream that no he wasn’t ready, he wanted to stay here where he felt comfortable but in truth nothing had been different from when he was at the castle, he still slept with his love, why shouldn’t he do it in their bedroom?
“No and yes...” He answered slowly and as honestly as he could “It is happening sooner than I would have liked but I will still be coming each day for our talks so I will have to take courage from that...Though I do feel guilty that I am leaving when we have not even started talking about your problem...”
“You may not have but a very sweet, very honest boy did...Satoru spoke to me last night when he shared the bed with Monkey and I...The things he said gave me some courage...” Aiba smiled and Nino tilted his head to one side reading the truth of his words by seeing the lighter expression in his face and the more confident way that he was holding himself. He wished he knew what Satoru had said to get this kind of reaction from his friend but whatever it was he was glad that it had worked.
“He is my angel...” Nino murmured softly and Aiba smiled squeezing his shoulders smiling so widely and happily that tears glittered in his eyes and it wasn’t long before they were rolling down his cheeks. Nino shook his head rolling his eyes as he wiped his friends face with the hem of his clothing wondering what it was that had set off his overly emotional friend so much, so quickly.
“Honestly it still surprises me that we are no longer in the Garden and we are free to live our lives as we want...” Aiba mumbled and Nino nodded having to admit that it still surprised him every time he woke up and couldn’t hear the soft voices of 100’s of women and men talking.
“We have come a long way, my friend...And, although I am glad for my time in the Garden, I am happier with my lord...” He mumbled, he would never hate the Garden or will never stop being thankful for all that he had learned there inside the walls but he was glad that he and Aiba had been two of the few that got to leave before their usefulness and attractiveness had worn off.
“And I am happier with my monkey...I think it is time to show him that I am...” Aiba said giving a wink that only managed to make him look like he was pulling a face or had something in his eye and Nino chuckled cupping his friends cheeks and lifting up onto his tip toes so that he could press the lightest of kisses to his lips. Aib was surprised but he responded to the light pressing of lips his hands going to touch his body. Nino closed his eyes allowing the large hands to move over him proving to himself that he had gotten better, that he could do what he had set out to.
“I hope that you have fun...” He said as he moved away jumping when there was a bark like cough from doorway. He turned seeing his lord and brother standing there, Ohno’s face was unreadable but the look that he was giving Aiba was enough to make his heart pound against his ribs. “This is just my training...”
“I thought you never kissed during training...” Ohno said in a soft voice that had just enough of a tinge of anger to it that Nino gulped quickly explaining himself,
“We did not, my lord...But I needed it...I needed to prove to myself that I could...”
“...Kazunari...I am not angry...Just jealous...It is a hard thing to know is happening much harder to actually witness...” Ohno sighed holding out his hands and Nino hurried over to him quickly pressing a kiss to his lips. This one though wasn’t light; it was heavy and full of fire that was enough to steal their breaths and have them panting softly when they pulled apart.
“You have nothing to fear my love; his kiss did not affect me as yours does...” Nino told him softly feeling a little dazed but happy and Ohno let out a soft chuckle licking his lips to saviour the taste.
“I am relieved for that, my love...Are you almost ready?” Ohno asked looking at the box that was only half packed. Nino followed his gaze with a smile wondering how he had managed to bring so many things down from the castle, though some of the items were Satoru’s.
“Almost go have a drink and I will join you in a short while” He answered waving him to the door knowing that he’d never get it finished if he was in the room hovering around him. Aiba chuckled blowing a kiss to the amused looking Sakurai and then started to help with the packing waffling on about a new potion that he wanted to try. They were soon done and carefully they took an end each and carried it down the stairs.
“Next time I will come to stay in the castle...” Aiba quipped as they reached the kitchen both panting and flushed from the exercise and Nino gave a laugh flopping down onto the trunk his body feeling like it was about to give up. He was glad when he looked out of the cottage door there was cart to take it back to the castle.
“You will be welcome too, right my lord?” Nino panted wiping the sweat from his forehead with a smile looking at his lord who was outside the door enjoying the sun with a glass of spirit in his hand. The lord gave a nod draining his drink by knocking his head back before putting g the cup down onto the tray,
“Of course, let me take the trunk to the cart...” He said softly and Nino nodded standing up preparing to take one side. Ohno seemed to take most of the weight though and soon the trunk was secure on the cart and Nino realised the reason for his lord’s unsettled mood. Iwao was sat outside of the small inn looking very angry as he nursed a drink. Nino dropped his eyes away suddenly wanting to be as far away from here as possible. He knew that it would only be so long before Iwao attacked him and he quickly made a mental note that until further notice his children were not allowed to leave the compound of the castle. Physical attacks on him he could deal with but Iwao was a dangerous and wouldn’t think twice about attacking his children as a replacement.
“Thank-you for allowing me to stay...” He said turning back to Aiba and Sakurai “I will see you tomorrow?”
“I will be waiting” Aiba nodded with a smile and Nino felt himself relax glad that he was still going to have that support from his friend. “Just remember that you do not have to force yourself, just relax and remember it was not your fault...”
“I will remember, also I hope you get to have fun tonight...” Nino smiled hugging his friend before turning and doing the same to his brother. It wouldn’t be a long separation but he could feel the heat of Iwao’s glare and it was making him uncomfortable. He climbed onto the cart and sat down next to the driver happy when Ohno came to sit next to him holding his hand tightly. If looks were able to inflict wounds the ones that Iwao sent them would have been enough to sever their arms and legs from their bodies. Nino snuggled closer than ever to his lord actually praying that Iwao would attack sooner rather than later so that it would be over with.
