Nino had been working as a teacher for almost a year now, everything felt strange and new but he was trying to be positive. Even with the never ending headaches that Wednesday’s drama club caused him. He had decided to be open about his relationship with Jun the town and village were too small and to connected for it to stay a secret and other than a few unintelligent comments, which were all dealt with swiftly by the headmaster, everyone seemed to be responding well to him and it was no secret that he was one of the most popular teachers at the school. That was if the crowds that surrounded his desk after every lesson and the chocolates he had received on valentines were anything to go by. Nino looked up from said desk when a large misshapen shadow fell over it.
“Sensei…Sensei…You used to come to school here right?” A girl with her hair worn in two large bunches asked slightly breathlessly a blush staining her cheeks.
“Yes…” Nino sighed trying to push his headache away with his fingers and smile at the mixed group of guys and girls that were surrounding his desk with overly bright expressions on their faces. “A few years ago now…”
“If sensei wore a uniform I bet he would blend right in…” One guy, Susumu, said plonking his bum down onto his desk and smiling in in a flirty kind of way. When Nino had first seen him he had instantly thought of a young Jun with his dark hair and eyebrows but Susumu was very open and honest that he enjoyed his bread buttered on both sides.
“Maybe I’ll test that one day” Nino joked standing up and pulling a folder out from under his bottom ignoring the way he was looking at him. “But for now I’ve got to get back to the office and study and you should be getting ready for your next lessons…”
“Aww but sensei…”
“We have drama club after school tomorrow…You can talk to me then…” Nino told them firmly remembering that he had promised his very jealous husband that he would establish more ground rules with his students after the Valentine’s day incident. “Or in my regular office hours…”
“Sensei…”
“Is everything okay Ninomiya-sensei?” Miki asked coming into the class room as the students were trudging out of it and Nino nodded his head tilting to one side
“What’s up?” He asked a knot of worry curling its way into his heart and stomach and only lessened when Miki gave a smile
“Your husband was on the phone…He wanted me to tell you that Becky and Masaki are parents again to another healthy baby…” she said and Nino dropped the folder he was carrying. Aiba and Becky had settled down in the flat above the restaurant just in time for Jun to help deliver their first baby two or three months after that Aiba had announced that Becky was once again up the duff and Nino was wondering if they were single handily trying to double the size of the town.
“Already..? But she’s only 8 months gone…” He muttered bending down to gather the files into his arms while Miki shrugged as she handed him the last of his paperwork. “I guess I’m going to have to go see her tonight then…I haven’t got her a card…”
“That was the next part ‘Tell primrose that I’ve got them a card and a fluffy bunny’”
“Oh…I guess it’s a girl this time then…” Nino smiled walking with Miki towards the door a happy little buzz in his stomach at the thought of a little niece running around in a few years.
“Thanks, isn’t she cute? She’s so small…Her name is going to be Junnko…” His former manager said pulling him over to a small fish tank and pointing at his baby. Nino forced his expression to stay passive as he looked at the baby trying to work out which part of it was meant to be beautiful it looked like a tiny pink turtle wrapped in an overly big baby grow.
“You’re naming your daughter after my husband?” Nino asked pretending to be offended and Aiba looked a little worried biting at his lip
“Well…He has delivered both babies now…And Becky refuses to allow me to name her Masaki Jr…” Aiba flushed and Nino let out a howl of laughter
“I’m so glad that one of you has sense…” He said wiping the happy tears from his eyes as he sat in the blue chair “So where’s my hubby then?”
“He went back to the village an hour ago he should be back…”
“He’s here…Hey primrose…” Jun murmured coming into the room his long white coat hanging down around his knees making him look like he was wearing an oversized shirt. He only really wore the coat when he was working a shift in the tiny hospital but Nino felt his heart dance around his ribs when he saw it. Jun strode over to him and placed a lingering kiss on his mouth before pulling away and pulling something out of Nino’s pocket. It was a square white piece of paper with ‘Nino-sensei’ written across the front in black fountain pen and Nino mentally groaned knowing that it was another confession letter. “What’s this?”
“I have no idea…I have no idea how it got in there…” Nino groaned making to grab for it but Jun held it out of reach waving it around for a minute “J, just give it here and I’ll get rid of it…” He said trying to refrain from jumping up and down trying to grab it. He was happy for their attention but when they did something like this it troubled him. He loved Jun and after everything that they’d had to go through to get to this point he didn’t want kids with foolish crushes to ruin that “Honestly J…I’ve been more assertive with them than I’ve been since I’ve started…”
“I know…I was just teasing…” Jun said with a laugh handing him the note that smelt faintly of strawberries. “It’s from me…”
“Huh? Why?” Nino asked in surprise looking at the front and smiling when he realised that it did indeed match his lover’s handwriting.
“It’s our anniversary…I knew you’d forgotten…” Jun sighed kissing the top of his head again while Nino bit back a moan his eyes closing tightly wondering how he could have forgotten.
“I’m sorry…I’ll make it up to you…” He whined his arms going around Jun’s neck holding him closely while ripping open the letter and reading it over his shoulder. Ignoring his two friends that were standing staring with amused looks on their faces.
‘Nino-sensei <3 I really like you and this year has been amazing…I hope we can make next year and the year after that…<3<3
Okay that was a little weird ne?

“I love you too, you idiot…” Nino whispered his voice croaking a little (which he would completely deny later) and he gave his husband a kiss, it was short and sweet just long enough for their lips to tingle before he pulled away and whispered “Happy anniversary…”
