krystalkatzficzNino opened his eyes slowly when he heard the sound of his mate’s growling guessing that another tray of food had been brought. He wasn’t sure how long he had been in here but the routine was becoming familiar now. It was all so strange to him it had only been a few days but his mind and his body couldn’t remember a time when he wasn’t with Jun. Anything outside of this room was unimportant and all he cared about was being pinned to the bed in his mates arms. He knew in the still ‘Nino’ part of his brain that he should hate this, hate being so needy around a vampire, hate crying out in pleasure when he touched him and he should definitely hate the feeling of loss that settled painfully in his stomach when the prince left the bed to go the door to collect the tray.
Today there was a cooked breakfast and a reddish liquid that looked like tomato juice in a thermos type mug and Nino tried to find enough horror and disgust to pull a face but he couldn’t. He wanted his mate to drink and stay healthy, a part of him was even jealous that it wasn’t his blood that he was drinking. He has to physically fight the temptation to grab the mug, throw it away and offer up his neck for the vampire by clenching one of his hands tightly and grabbing the fork. He speared one of the mushrooms and popped it into his mouth his eyes never once leaving Jun’s face as he drank the blood.
“Does it bother you?” Jun asked when he realised that he was watching and Nino blinked pulling his gaze away as he gave a half nod half shake of the head,
“…Ye-No…” He stammered smiling when Jun placed the cup behind his back in a weird attempt to hide it.
“Tell me the truth…” He said and there was a tone in his voice that Nino felt urged to speak and tell him the truth even though his stomach was churning a little.
“It doesn’t bother me…I mean… As much as it should…I mean…Not in the way that I thought it would…I…Um…I feel jealous…That you’re drinking somebody else’s…I want you to drink mine…”
“…Yours?”
“Yeah, it’s weird…The idea should repulse me…But…I want to give it too you… That isn’t part of the whole submissive thing then…?” Nino asked uncertainly looking down at the bedspread knowing that it really needed to be cleaned soon, or better yet thrown away Nino thought seeing some of the stains that were covering the silk. Jun let out a thoughtful hum stroking his neck with his fingers before answering,
“…I’m not completely sure…I…Even if I’m right and you are part vampire somewhere…I don’t know how it happened but you’re completely human but I don’t feel the urge to bite you…I know that has to be the protection part of our bonding…”
“So you don’t want to drink from me?” Nino asked a flood of disappointment surging through his body and Jun kissed him quickly nipping at his neck
“I do…But…The reason we…Milk humans is because otherwise we would take too much and I could end up killing you…”
“But that won’t happen because of the bonding ne? You said so yourself…You can’t hurt me…” Nino said cringing when he realised that he was begging to have his blood drank. Jun must have picked up on it because he gave a smile
“…Do you find trying to tempt me into drinking your blood strange?” He said leaning forward and nibbling at his shoulder and then pressing light kisses to his neck “Because I think it’s the first time I’ve ever heard it…”
“Yes…So you think it’s weird?” Nino said playing with the vampire’s fingers unable to look him in the eye and Jun growled shaking his head furiously the kissing at his chest and Nino wasn’t able to stop the moan of pleasure when the prince suckled on his nipple before saying huskily,
“I think its erotic…”
“Really…?” Nino breathed his skin tingling again as his breath hitched it should be physically impossible but he could already feel his cock stirring with interest,
“Defiantly…But during the bonding process I’d find a sneeze erotic…” Jun admitted tickling him on his side to soften the light knock the words might have otherwise given him. Nino let out a laugh wriggling around on the bed while trying not to hit him again. Soon their actions were jostling the tray and quickly Jun stopped and forced him to eat some more.
“What is it that makes me so…Erotic?” Nino asked as he swallowed down some fluffy scrambled eggs wondering what the staff would be thinking now.
“Everything…Everything about you is erotic to me…You movement, the way you look away, even the way you farted in your sleep last night…”
“I didn’t f-…” Nino snapped his face going a deep scarlet and he was about to shuffle off of the bed until Jun caught him.
“You didn’t fart…I was just seeing if you were actually listening to me…In fact you just pretty much lay there all night like a log, you were so still last night that I had to check that you were still breathing…”
“…You don’t sleep?”
“…We…Sort of do…It helps the body to process the blood and the little amounts of food that we do eat…But if you so much as made a noise I’d be awake making sure that you were okay, the bond would make me and the scent you…”
“Scent…?” Nino cut in his tongue sticking to the roof of his mouth in horror.
“The smell of your body…Everyone gives off a scent but you…At the moment…You’re letting off a pheromone like a cat…Your whole body is screaming at me…” Jun answered instantly and Nino almost dropped the fork he was holding as he looked at his mate with a lifted eyebrow
“…So I stink?” He asked wondering if all vampires could smell it his lifted his arm and hesitantly sniffed at his armpit his nose wrinkling when he caught the scent of dry sweat and sex clinging to his skin. He really needed a shower, he thought grumpily, while Jun let out a howl of laughter
“You don’t stink…Imagine the best thing you have ever smelt and then triple it by a thousand and then you might get an idea of how amazing I find you…”
“…So…Um are you giving off a scent?”
“Yes” Jun answered simply looking away from him and Nino arched his eyebrows intrigued by this development. Nino hadn’t thought that it was possible for a proud creature of the night alien from another world vampire to get embarrassed but Jun was utterly and completely destroying that image because he was very embarrassed and Nino wished that he could have seen a blush lighting up the proud face.
“You are…? Do you smell good to other vampires?” Nino asked a smirk on his lips and he was surprised when Jun glared for a minute his eyes going a crimson colour as he shook his head and opened his mouth saying reluctantly,
“No…I well and truly ‘stink’…I’m the opposite of you…”
“Why?” The human asked blinking with surprise, he thought that Jun smelt pretty good even with the husky scent of sex on his skin, it was like warm butter milk
“Because…I’m masking I’m masking your scent from rogues…” Jun answered with a sigh a troubled look crossing over his face as his arms folded across his chest. Nino searched through his memory trying to remember where he had heard that before, he knew it was something bad, the vampiric footman had spoken about them once with a sneer of distaste
“Rogues…?” He said carefully not wanting to upset his mate but wanting to know as much as possible about the people he had hated only a few days before. Jun gave a sigh sucking on his bottom lip for a good 30 seconds before answering warily
“Most vampires value the laws given to us by the Ten…We live by them and accept that they are there to govern our lives and that’s why we have no war or civil unrest…Rogues follow the same laws but a…Branch version of them and if they steal a submissive mate during the bonding process…Or during the two year heats…They have the right to rule…”
“Why?”
“I told you…You have all the moves” Jun said frowning with a hiss when Nino didn’t understand the point he was trying to make “don’t you see? If they had you there would be nothing that I could do to them...I couldn’t risk you being hurt in any way…So I would give them anything that they wanted…”
“…Why don’t more vampires do that?”
“Why didn’t more humans become serial killers? It’s a moral choice; rogues are just our version of your killers…” Jun said with a shrug and Nino tried to understand everything that he was being told
“But…I thought that I couldn’t mate with anyone else…”
“I can’t you could…You wouldn’t be willing as you are with me…But they could still fuck and claim you…” Jun said stiffly and Nino gave a shudder dropping the fork that he had been pretty much just holding in his hand knowing that he wouldn’t be able to eat anything else all he wanted was to be locked to his mate and forget about the rogues.

A/N: The last update I have >.< stupid hand...Because I've got nothing constructive to do I've become addicted to facebook games like farmvile and the village >.< I do have a sort of drabble type MatsuMiya fic its written in journal entries style from Jun's POV started when Arashi was first formed until now, let me know if you want to read it if not I'll see you in a few days with a hopefully fully recovered hand :D
