Three months was how long it took for Nino to decide that their princess was ready to leave the nursing nest. Three months of not knowing when she would change into her human form or if this time it was going to stick. Both boys changed into their human and stayed and Satoshi was bewitched by both. They looked near identical save for the fact that Tatsuya was more stocky. The boy even as a human clung to Nino as though his life depended on it preferring to be in his arms at all times. Their hair to both parents surprise was almost a blonde and their eyes were steel grey with only slightly darker edges. Their faces were very much Satoshi’s in appearance but like their sister the had Nino’s cute nose. Neither enjoyed the helplessness that came from being in their human form but Satoshi liked to think that he and Nino made for great parents and the boys and girl wanted for nothing.

Being the only one on the nipple during feeding meant that his princess was able to drink her fill each time and although it was unlikely she would ever be the same size as her brothers she was very much sturdy by the time she changed and stayed in her human form. Her hair had lost the fuzziness and was simply as dark as Nino’s now and was very thick. It hung around her face in tiny ringlet curls that made her look angelic though the expressions she could already pull told Satoshi that she was far from that but he was well and truly wrapped around her tiny little fingers which were also very Nino like.

“I don’t want to leave...I made a good nest...” Nino huffed looking around the nest that had been their home since the birth of their pups and Satoshi pulled his gaze away from his daughter to look at his lover who was cradling both the boys. They looked overly large against his thin partner but somehow the sight made Satoshi’s heart grow warm.

“I know my pet, the nest was perfect, and it served our pups well...They have all grown and are strong...” He hummed going to Nino’s side being careful not to wake Takashiya who was happily suckling on her thumb against his chest. Unlike the boys she seemed to love being in her human form and was delighted in discovering both her fingers and her toes which she tried to put in her mouth at all times. Satoshi wondered if she was just happy about not shifting all the time because he knew that he was. “We couldn’t have asked for a better nest for our pups...” He whispered pressing a kiss to his lover’s cheek. He had been told by the pack elders that the first birthing nest was the most important to an omega, though each nest they made they put a little bit of their soul into, and it was always best to coax rather than force and to always appease. “It was so warm and cosy but now it’s time to move on...Would you like to take some of the nest with you?”

“I can? Or would that be weird? I’m being weird aren’t I? It’s just a nest” Nino said though he was looking hopefully around.

“It isn’t just a nest, pet, it is where you birthed three beautiful pups and cared for them for three long months. It will always be a treasured memory and I would love to have something as a reminder...” Satoshi coaxed gently but honestly and Nino gave a happily laugh saying dryly;

“Three pups aren’t going to be enough of a reminder?”

“True...But a little something else as well...” Satoshi said reaching down and taking three of the dried leaves from the floor. They had been pressed completely though some of the dry leaf had been broken in the shapes of tiny paw prints. “These I will take...You take something...”

“Okay...Hold at least Tatsuya...” Nino said handing the chunkiest of their boys over before picking up a lock of mattered fur. It was a mix of both of theirs twisted around each other but had a few little furs from their pups. It was likely to be covered with a lot of things but there was no denying that like the leaves it was a beautiful thing for Nino to take. “I will take this...”

“When we reach the winter camp I will make a locket for it...” Satoshi promised and Nino smiled tucking the twisted lock of hair into this robe over his heart. They gave their nest another look and then slowly they headed out of the clearing and back towards their pack who was waiting to meet their newest members.

Nino was apprehensive as they walked to the camp holding the pups. Tatsuya was already starting to wake and would soon be fussy while Tsukiya was already awake and studying everything with his big strange coloured eyes. He was a quiet baby just like the man he took after and Nino knew that when he was old enough he would make a fine alpha, just like his papa. Thankfully that would be a long time away and Nino was happy enough just having him be a baby that he could fuss over.

“The pack are going to love you” He said though in reality he still didn’t want anyone else to see his pups. He kept telling himself that they were too small, too fragile, that somebody might accidently hurt them. Logically he knew that it was normal. Leaving the nursing nest was difficult for all new parents and his birthing had been hard because it was triplets and there had been so much worry over Takashiya, he knew that his pack would rather kill themselves than hurt the pups but that didn’t register in his mind.

“Almost there” Satoshi said somewhat needlessly as Nino could already see the camp that had been set up and hear the ruckus that was the pups from two seasons ago. They were only younglings two and three years old at the most but they were loud and healthy running around and screaming while they were watched over by the elders of the pack or their parents. Masaki and Sho’s child would be too young to join in yet having only been born last season but Masaki was no doubt there holding Midori laughing happily as the omega child watched.

“I can’t do this...” Nino admitted when they were only a few feet away and Satoshi stopped. He turned to look at him his face filled with compassion and Nino flashed him a guilty smile. “Sorry...I know...They are pack...They are our pack but...My heart...”’

“Is acting the way all new parents act, it’s normal...Masaki was the same last year and Rin and Yotomi the year before. We’ve been away longer and Takashiya has needed extra care but they are our family and they will support us and the triplets...” Satoshi promised as Tatsuya woke and started crying loudly. The sound was enough to make the entire camp grow silent before excited faces appeared at the edge of the wood and childish voices shouted in unison;

“Its the Arun and the Aylin.” They used the formal names of the alpha and their mate and Nino sighed gently remembering who he was. He sucked in his breath and held his head high. He was the Aylin after all and his pups were Antares heirs he couldn’t be scared, nobody would hurt them or even touch them if he didn’t allow it. “They’ve gotten their puppies!”

“So we should hope” Masaki laughed happily coming to stand behind the overly excited younglings holding Midori against his chest. “Aylin, welcome back to the pack, we’ve missed you...I know it’s hard...Sho almost had to drag me out of my nest...And I wasn’t in there nearly as long as you...”

“I still don’t want to be out...” Nino whispered hitching the babies closer to his chest as the pack started to circle them “May I present your Antares, Tsukiya alpha heir to Arun Satoshi, Tatsuya beta child...And our omega Takashiya...”

“Welcome to the pack Antares three...”

A/N: Arun is sun in Hindi, Aylin is the halo around the moon in Turkish, and Antares is the seventeenth brightest star that you can see with the naked eye. In this story it is the names of what is basically pack royal family xD i hope that this is okay ^_^
