Rogue part 7

A week earlier

Aiba Masaki stalked through the Ichigo lands feeling more like a caged tiger than a wolf. His lips were bruised and sore from where he had been chewing them since his beloved brother Nino had gone missing. The Delta and sigma refused to tell him what had happened though they had muttered something about an apple. He couldn’t ask the beta or the alpha as they were busy with the breeding season. Although he had a chosen mate he had escaped from being bonded and bred this season as at only 17 he hadn’t gone through his first transformation yet. He had never been more grateful of not changing into his wolf as he was now though he knew that he wouldn’t escape it next time. He had never been like Nino but unlike Nino he had been born here in the Ichigo pack.

Masaki sighed softly pushing his long soft brown hair out of his face before dropping down onto a tree stump and staring out at the forest. He knew that Nino had always felt as though he didn’t belong here and he had always privately questioned the alpha’s insistence on keeping it a secret that Nino wasn’t a true member of the ichigo pack. The alpha said that it was because he didn’t want to make Nino feel like an outsider but Masaki had watched the feeling of isolation grow inside Nino and he knew that he should have seen it coming that Nino would leave.

“Masaki-chan” A greasy voice called from behind him and Masaki shuddered before pushing the feeling down and forcing a smile on his face as he turned to look at his intended.

“Beta Gao” he replied his voice low as he kept his gaze on the floor. For anyone watching it was an act of submission but in honesty it was because he didn’t want to look at the man in front of him. He was the third beta of the Ichigo pack and he was much older than Masaki with two partners who were already pregnant with the betas children. A hand ran over his cheek and Masaki struggled to keep the smile on his face.

“What are you doing out here all alone? Where is Nino?” Gao asked looking at him with a lifted eyebrow and Masaki realised that he could speak, he could tell a beta that an omega was missing but if Nino had truly runaway of his own free will then why should he stop him? Would Nino be happy if he were forced to come back? His mind swam with confusion and then he sighed and whispered;

“I don’t know, I haven’t seen him this morning”

“I bet the lazy brat is still in bed, I’ve never known an omega to be as lazy as that one, if I didn’t know better I would say he was a sigma” Gao muttered and Masaki gave a sort of half shrug, Nino wasn’t a typical omega he knew that, but with the right sort of partner, one that spoiled him without stifling him he would make a great partner. The Ichigo’s weren’t a good fit for that, Masaki knew that, the Ichigo’s wanted Omega to be always on hand to pet and spoil them. “You should go wake him and then get about your chores, another omega is with pup, you young ones will have to shoulder more work...Next year though...It will be your turn”

“I...Next year is so long away” Masaki whispered telling himself that he was free of the man for a little longer but Gao thought he was sad that it would be so long and he stroked him down the side of his neck.

“Don’t worry, Omega, your turn will come” He purred in what he thought was a seductive way stroking him again before finally leaving him alone. Masaki stood up slowly and looked out over the forest that stretched before him whispering;

“If you were going to leave you could have told me, I would have gone with you...Please be okay...”

*-*-*-*Present*-*-*-*

Tamaska let out a silent laugh running around the den with Jun following trying to hit him playfully with a drying cloth. The beta wasn’t serious in his attack, Tamaska could see he was enjoying it, but he did have to move quickly out of the way to avoid a rather painful flick across his bare leg. Four of the other beta wolves were watching with amusement from their nest while Sho was lazily reading book pretending he was ignoring their antics though he did hum dryly;

“Be careful not to actually hit him Jun, Satoshi will rip out your throat if you mark those pale legs of his...And you can’t do surgery on yourself”

“I am aware of that, I am also aware that I have absolutely no idea why I saved this brats life” Jun spat and Tamaska gave a cute grin sticking his tongue out before diving into the beta nest as the cloth cracked through the air almost catching him on the backside. A muffled huff of pain sounded from the beta but they rolled around quickly to make room for him in between them protecting him from any further attack. “This isn’t over brat”

“...” Tamaska grinned again and then crawled up to Sho pushing himself up under his arm so he could rest his head on his chest and read the book. He regretted it almost immediately, although he could understand what the words were he couldn’t make head nor tail of what the actually meant. It was very dry and very dull in Tamaska’s opinion but with the steady rise and fall of Sho’s chest it was actually rather peaceful more so when he put his feet on the back of one of the beta at the bottom of the nest causing him to wince and moan;

“Your feet are cold...”

“Your feet are cold?” Jun said straight away coming over and taking them in his and Tamaska rolled his eyes as the medical wolf started to talk about how foolish it was for him to be running around barefooted when he was only just recovering from a serious wound. “Are you trying to make yourself sick...?” He asked as he rubbed the feet with the cloth he had been using moments before to flick him. Tamaska leaned against Sho’s ear and whispered softly;

“Tell...Jay...He’s a mother h-en...”

“Tamaska has said that you are a mother hen, Jay, but please don’t attack him again” Sho chuckled turning the page of his book and Tamaska giggled again as Jun dropped his feet down and shot him a stony glare that didn’t end even when the door of the den was opened and Satoshi stalked in carrying two large fish. Tamaska let out a happy sound jumping up away from Sho and climbing over the other beta so he could throw himself at the alpha who dropped his fish and crushed him in a hug.

Awwww!!! Now I just hope aiba will decide to be brave and try to find nino in ohnos lands and then be found too!! So they could all live happily x3x

So cute but I really hope that they will rescue Masaki soon then. The Ichigo pack sounds awful (Sadly though because I like the name)

So will Aiba leave to find Nino or will Ohno and Sho meet with the other clan later in the year? There is no way Ohno will let Nino go now but if Nino remembers his brother he might go back for him. 😊💙💛
