“I won!” Kazu shouted bouncing up and down as they looked at their results from the Buzzlightyear blaster ride. Sho smiled at his son reaching out to ruffle his hair while looking at Masaki’s beaming face. Masaki’s numbers were only a little behind Kazu’s but of course he didn’t care about coming second, not when Kazu was having so much fun. “I really won!”

“Well done, Kazu-kun” Masaki’s arm slipped around Kazu’s shoulder so he could press a kiss to his cheek. “Come on! Where too next?”

“Um...This is your day” Kazu answered his eyes going to the tubs of popcorn other children were carrying around. Sho had noticed him looking at them several times. There were various designs but the ones Kazu was looking at were the ones with the aliens on from Toy story. They were cute little things and Sho had already decided he would get his son one as soon as he saw where they were brought.

“And I will be happy doing whatever you want to do! How couldn’t I be here in Disney?” Masaki said and Kazu gave him a grin and then swallowed saying slowly;

“Can...Can we get a drink? I’m sorry...”

“It’s thirsty work waiting in line and on rides ne, come on Sho-chan, lets get a drink” Masaki announced slipping one arm through his while keeping the other around Kazu. The park was already full of families, both Japanese and foreign and both Sho and Masaki were determined not to lose their son in the huge park with all these people. Thankfully they never seemed to be too far from a vender and they were soon waiting in another line to get a drink. Around them kids started hissing excitedly pointing into the crowds to their right. Sho looked over the heads of the kids and saw an actor in a buzzlightyear costume walking towards them waving his hands around.

“Hey, Kazu-kun, Buzz is here...” He said pointing towards the actor and Kazu went still for a moment his mouth dropping open for a moment before it snapped close again and he said shakily;

“It’s just a man in a suit”

“It’s Buzz!” Masaki said almost firmly and Sho was reminded of how much his lover believed in the magic of being a child. He hated it when Children grew too quickly. In his line of work he met children every day who struggled to hold onto be a child and he made sure that they would believe in things for as long as they could. It was one of the many things that made him so special. “You’re in Disneyland! This place has been sprinkled with fairy dust so anything is possible, remember that when you’re hear you have to forget everything you think you know, every thing they teach you in school because it’s Disney magic and it made him real”

“Papa!” Kazu giggled while other children turned to look at him and Sho almost rolled is eyes as he took his turn to get three drinks in large containers shaped like the packaging Buzz had come in. Several of the kids were looking up at Masaki with grins on their faces but most were trying to get Buzz’s autograph. The actor was doing a great job in trying to get to them all while staying in character and Sho wondered how he would cope if dozens of children were surrounding him screaming all day. “Could you take a picture?”

“Yup!” Masaki pulled out his phone and snapped a few pictures of the buzz and then urged Kazu to stand in front. The actor wasn’t super close at first but before any of them knew it he was coming to stand beside Kazu with his hand lightly on his shoulder. Kazu’s face went scarlet but he smiled awkwardly and posed for the picture before hurrying back to Masaki and Sho as Buzz touched a button and his wings came out and he said in a somewhat robotic voice.

“I’m buzzlightyear of star command”

“Thank-you! You’re great!” Masaki said happily while Sho nodded the actor gave a salute and then was mobbed by more excited children. The alarm on Sho’s phone buzzed and he hummed;

“We better head to toon town, Goofy will be waiting”

“Goofy! I love Goofy! When I first met him Sho-chan reminded me of Goofy, he was clumsy but sweet and he tries really hard” Masaki giggled as Sho noticed that his Phones background was changed to Kazu and Buzz standing together.

“Oh, thanks I remind you of a cow dog...” Sho sighed rolling his eyes as he urged them through the park and Masaki laughed sipping his fruity pop through the bendy straw.

“He’s a dog! But I always thought he was just a Goof...I was surprised when I found out he was a dog...How does that make sense? Pluto is a dog...Do only some dogs get to wear trousers...?”

“Your mind goes to some strange places, Masaki”

“Yup, but you love me for it...I love this song!” Masaki shouted happily singing along to the Disney song that had started through the speakers and Sho sighed knowing that before the day was out he was going to be wearing mouse ears and will have the songs playing in his head over and over. It was worth it though to see the smiles on his lover and sons faces.

The track out of Tomorrow land to Toon Town was quite long but it was a nice day and Masaki kept stopping to take photos mostly with him and Kazu doing all the cute touristy photos people took when at Disney. Thankfully he had given them plenty of time to get their before their thirty minute window to meet Goofy. Toon Town made little to no sense to Sho, he had never been one for cartoons growing up, his parents had said they would rot his brains so the lay out meant nothing to him for Masaki though it was as though they had stepped into the cartoon and Sho didn’t think he’s lover could get anymore excited.

“Oh! It’s Donalds boat! Look at it Kazu! Isn’t it amazing?” Masaki shouted pointing at the impossible looking boat where an actor dressed as Donald duck was waving at people and blowing them kisses while kids and adults waited in long lines. “Mickeys house! Hello Mickey! Goofy!”

“I think we’ve lost him, Kazu” Sho chuckled to his son who laughed happily while Masaki had stopped dead staring at the man dressed as Goofy who was leaning against the gate to his lopsided home. There was a huge crowd and an impossibly long line but Sho had his tickets and he easily guided Masaki and Kazu to the booth where he flashed the ticket they had been given.

“The wait is still about fifteen minutes...” The woman on the gate said letting them through to the speed line but Sho shrugged as Masaki and Kazu talked excitedly with each other.

And about Disney... ai have been in Tokyo Disneyland and it’s...complicated... it’s really nice but there are a lor of people!!! Long cues everywhere
