Hogwarts Christmas part 10

Sho stared at Draco and then at Nino who shrugged and then motioned for him to do as Draco said and pick up the wand. His fingers curled around the handle slowly but the effect was almost immediate. A strange pins and needles sort of sensation washed over him from where his fingers were touching the wand and his spine tingled with it. He let out a sharp breath and then flicked the wand towards a dummy in the corner of Draco’s shop and whispered a shrinking spell. With his old wand...His mother’s wand his magic had felt sluggish with this one it reacted perfectly and immediately. The dummy shrank and then regrew and Draco let out a laugh.

“Well, I think it’s safe to say that wand has found it’s owner...” The former Slytherin chuckled putting the tray down onto the table and clapping a few times with graceful long fingers. “Well done...”

“...I...It’s a nice wand but I don’t have the money...” Sho said trying to put the wand back down onto the shelf only to have it jump back up again and try to hit him on the side of the face. Draco waved a dismissive hand and said in the same clipped posh way he always did;

“Nonsense, it’s a gift, think of it as a late Christmas present...”

“I can’t accept...It’s too much...”

“Well, I won’t be able to sell that wand to anyone else, it’s clear it wants you...So you will be doing me a favour to take it off my hands” Draco pulled the wand box from the shelf and handed it over with a smile and Sho licked his lips nervously before whispering;

“I will pay you for it...When I start to earn...”

“How about you come work for me in the summer holidays? I won’t pay you but you can pay off the wand?” Draco suggested his arms folding across his chest as a pale eyebrow lifted up an even paler forehead. Sho swallowed looking at the wand that was back in his hand before swallowing again and nodding;

“If the orphanage agree...Then I would be happy to...”

“Oh, don’t worry about that, I will get Harry to talk to them, they adore him. Everybody does, all because he’s got a stupid scar on his forehead...They won’t argue with him” Draco promised firmly his tone softening just a little to soften the words he was saying. “So, we have a deal”

“Um, yeah...Thanks...Thanks very much...”

“You’re welcome... Lord Ninomiya, your wand is done, everything is in perfect order. You clearly take care of it” Draco announced taking Nino’s wand from his counter and putting it down on the table beside the Slytherin.

“I love it, it’s the best wand ever” Nino said happily from where he was pouring tea in a graceful way. Sho had never thought of anyone one pouring tea gracefully before but now he watched him Nino was doing just that. He was different somehow, less nervous with his back straight and a small smile playing on the corners of his mouth he looked cute and Sho had a difficult time in believing that Nino was here on a date with him.

“Of course, I only make the best...And only the best people are worthy of having one of my wands...”

“Once a snob always a snob...” A voice said dryly from the back of the shop and Sho watched with amusement as Nino almost shot out of his chair his face changing colours more quickly than a traffic light. For a moment Sho wasn’t sure what had happened and then Harry Malfoy-Potter came in from the back. Unlike Draco who was dressed in a suit, the wizarding worlds hero was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and shoes that looked like they had seen better days. His hair was sticking up in it’s trademark bird’s next and his glasses were fogged over from coming in from the outside covering up his brilliant green eyes. Every inch of skin Sho could see on the man was tanned and his arms were muscular and lean. He wasn’t very tall, almost a head shorter than Draco but he was stockier. “Hey git”

“Potter, urgh...I’ve told you time and time again, don’t come into my shop looking like something the kneazle dragged in. You are a grown man, the head of two of noble houses and married to the head of another and you look like a muggle street urchin...” Draco complained light-heartedly as Harry came over and leaned against the counter. The two teens watched the interaction with bewildered expressions on their faces and eventually Harry seemed to notice that Draco wasn’t alone as he straightened up a little and gave them an easy smile dragging his fingers through his already messy hair and making it even messier.

“Hey, Kazu, how are you feeling? Hopefully better?”

“Um...Yeah...I’m good...Um...”

“Potter, go make some of that sludge you call tea and leave the poor boy alone” Draco rolled his eyes and then sat in the chair on the other side of the table Nino was sitting at and Sho smiled deciding that he liked Draco Malfoy-Potter a lot. He might have made some mistakes in his life but he had moved beyond them in his way “What are you intending to do for the rest of the day?”

“...We...We are going to...Harry’s Home...For Magical Animals...”

“I see, a good a spot as any for a date but don’t let Potter bore you to death...He can get a little carried away when going on about snakes...” Draco rolled his eyes and Sho smiled cradling his new wand in his hands for a minute and letting the two Slytherin’s talk. Draco would be good for Nino, he could see that almost instantly, Draco was the type of person Nino needed to help him let go of the shadows of the past and he wondered if the man would be willing to talk to Nino about that a few times a week. He needed somebody that had been there and got over it.

wow I missed a chApter! glad I could keep up today hehe. the first spot date! I'm glad Sho had the new wand :) and why I hope Nino will help Sho work too in the summer? XDD also I'm glad Nino and Draco seems have a good time, and Draco would support Nino. awww. he needs someone other than Sho that understand him more as slytherin, no? I hope someday or near future, Draco would tell Nino his story about him and Harry ... as an encouraging story to Nino ... so Nino will progress his relationship with Sho :D <3

why I think that sakumiya in the future would look like harry-draco? XDD with all that teasing, mocking, it's so sakumiya-ish. maybe sakumiya now is still embarassed and both doesn't really let out since it's still their first date and all, but I'm pretty sure in the future they'd look like harry-draco XDD I hope so! Continue to the next date spot~ magical animals!! <3
