A/N: Okay…Originally this was going to just be a long one shot but I got sick…I think…I’m really sleepy and keep getting headaches so…Urgh…I slept for almost 18 hours on Saturday >.< so I had to chop it as I didn’t want to not post anything I’m a day late for brats birthday >.< but this week (apart from Thursday) will be this and my 99.9 story I will finish this by Sunday >.<

Ninomiya Kazunari was the unlikeliest person to be a live-in nanny. It wasn’t something he had considered being as a child but when his oldest friend Aiba Masaki had started up his own company he had been roped along. He had studied for and gained all the qualifications needed and actually enjoyed his work. He’d only had one client so far, but he had been disappointed when the family had informed him that they would be moving to America and was no longer required. It had been near heart breaking to leave behind the two children.

“You can stop sighing, more so since we’re about to meet a potential new family for you…” Masaki announced from behind his desk where he had been filling paperwork and Nino slowly looked up at his friend slash boss. The company Masaki had set up had boomed almost unexpectedly but instead of enjoying his new-found success Masaki was normally the first to pitch in when one of the day workers were sick. “They will be here in a minute…”

“Masaki, it’s almost midnight, who in their right minds interviews a nanny at midnight?” Nino asked again. He had been worried about the time since Masaki had told him wondering if he was about to meet a family of vampires or something. He hoped the kid wouldn’t be with them. It was late after all but it would be impossible to see if he and the kid would be a good fit if they didn’t meet.

“People who want it to be kept hush-hush…I don’t know the full details to be honest, but they need a full time live in nanny and they don’t want it to be a woman” Masaki shrugged saying the same thing he had told him over the phone and Nino let out a hum. It wasn’t too much of an odd request. They had become so successful because they provided male nannies and care takers as an alternative to the vast majority that only had women on their books.

“Jealous wife?” Nino mused scratching his chin and looking towards the glass door when a shadow fell over it. The man beyond was tall and thin with curling black hair and a smart suit that looked worth more than all the furniture in Masaki’s office. He paused for a moment and then turned to talk to somebody behind him, probably the wife, before knocking shortly. Masaki rose swiftly from behind his desk and shot Nino a stare to see up straight and Nino complied. He wanted the job after all, he hadn’t got his own apartment after all and he was tired of sleeping on Masaki’s sofa.

“Matsumoto-san? Please, come in”

“We’re sorry for being late” The man hummed in a smooth voice and Nino felt his eyebrows lift. Without the obstacle of the door he could see the man more clearly and he was gorgeous…Better even. He walked like he owned the place his eyes moving swiftly to take in any and all details. He didn’t seem all that impressed if Nino were honest but there was something hot about him all the same. Nino was almost positive that he had seen him somewhere before, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

“Ah! No! You’re right on time. Please, come on through. Can I offer you a drink? Coffee or perhaps tea would be better…” Masaki fussed the way he always did and Nino got up to go to the tea and coffee pot. Matsumoto jerked his head in his direction and then answered with a soft;

“Water, please…Satoshi would you like anything?”

“Ah…No, I’m fine…But please…Be quiet I’ve only just gotten him to sleep” Another male voice pleaded from behind the taller man and Nino was sure that he almost dropped the bottle of water. He recognised that voice. The wife of his former family had been obsessed with it. Ohno Satoshi. Japans number one idol. He had been in the charts since he had debuted ten years ago. His face was everywhere. Nino hadn’t kept up with the gossip magazines but he was sure he would have known if the man was married.

“I see from your expression that you recognise my client” Matsumoto hummed gently, his tone low and almost threatening and Nino gulped trying hard to swallow his fear as he handed the man, who was probably a manager, the water. By doing so he had a better look at Ohno Satoshi and boy was he better looking in person than on TV. He looked amazing in a pair of jeans that hugged his form with a black denim biker style jacket. His hair was unkempt spiking up around his tanned chubby face and his lips were bright red from painful chewing. On his arm was a car seat with a sleeping baby inside. The baby wasn’t even a year old but looked vaguely like the idol, albeit with a squished face, “I hope that you know to keep your mouth shut…”

“I can assure you sir that all of my employees know better than to discuss our clients and Nino…Ninomiya is one of our best nanny’s he has just recently lost his placement…”

“Why?” Matsumoto asked sharply, and Satoshi looked interested as well from where he was frantically shaking the car seat as though terrified that if he stopped the child would wake. He didn’t look like a natural father and Nino wondered how he had gotten this far without having a nervous breakdown.

“The family moved to America, sir, they asked me to go with them, but I don’t have a passport” Nino answered honestly. “Also, I didn’t want to leave Japan. Um…If you shake him too much it can damage him just put him on the floor and rock him gently…” Nino murmured softly to the frazzled idol who startled and then did as he was told setting the baby down and rocking him back and forth.

“Why don’t you both sit down and tell us how we can help?” Masaki suggested motioning to the sofa and the manager and idol did as they were told. Satoshi’s eyes hadn’t left him Nino noted as he sat on the opposite sofa playing about nervously with the overalls that most of Masaki’s nannies wore as a uniform.

“Well you have already guessed you my client is. I am his manager, Matsumoto Jun.” The taller of the two men said his voice lower than it had been earlier but no less commandeering “Around two months ago Satoshi’s sister gave birth to the baby you see before you and about a week ago she decided that she had had enough playing mummy and left the child in Satoshi’s care. Since then she has vanished into the ether. Satoshi will not give up the child but with his career the way it is, we need a nanny. Several people recommended your services…”

“Well, we will do what we can, ne Nino?” Masaki asked him but all Nino could think was that if he got to be the nanny for Ohno Satoshi’s kid, this was one of the best birthday presents a man could ask for.
