Oh! I bet I know what will happen! When they get back (even though i don't know if Japan has this or not) I bet Nino gets served with a summons to appear at the divorce proceedings as a hostile witness. That would upset Ohno and Nino. Possibly they could get him out of it with his doctors advice.
