“You changed…Fully?” Jun asked in wonder after Nino had stopped speaking for a while and the half-veela nodded slowly, his cheeks growing a rosy colour as he averted his eyes. Jun had never seen the boy looking so embarrassed as he whispered;

“Yes…”

“But I thought half-bloods…” Jun spluttered trying to remember Masaki’s lesson and Nino sighed drawing his legs up to his chest and hugging them tightly as he explained in a soft voice;

“It’s very rare for a half-blood to transform completely into the true form of the Veela. It happens when there is a great emotional stress during puberty. The death of my grandmother and knowing that I should have been there for longer sparked the change. My father spent the last six weeks training me to control myself. I have managed it but I have to be…Careful…” Nino finished limply and Jun nodded remembering how Nino and his mum had reacted when he had calmed himself while talking to Sho. “Its why I couldn’t contact you…You are…A deep emotional trigger to me…”

“I see…Um…And the reason that you didn’t write to me…” Jun tried not to smile too much at the admission that he was a deep trigger for the Veela but he couldn’t help it. He thought that maybe Nino was drifting away from him he wasn’t expecting the opposite to be true. He moved so he was sitting beside his friend his arm wrapping around his shoulders coaxing him to rest his head against his shoulder.

“Because I wanted to be able to explain face to face…It wasn’t something I could put in a letter” Nino sighed, his breath rushing against Jun’s neck before he pulled away and looked him in the face muttering “You understand that…I get…Ugly…Like a vulture…Really ugly…”

“That’s only a small part of you though…” Jun shrugged honestly not caring about that. He knew that he was probably a little odd but he actually wanted to see the full Veela Nino. He didn’t think that Nino would be ready for that or even if he could control it yet. As far as he remembered the transformation happened mostly when they were under deep emotions like anger and grief. 

“A small part that…If…If…If we had sex…There is a very real chance that I could transform while you were inside me…” Nino flushed again, and Jun found himself swallowing around a thick lump. Not from the fact that Nino might change but because the man was thinking of them having sex. They had come close to that before Nino had been called away, but he had never really expected it. Their relationship was what it was, they had never defined it or confirmed it. “I mean…Just the first time because it would be a whole new experience and not something I could train for with my dad…”

“I should hope not” Jun wrinkled his nose in disgust at the thought of Nino and his father and his erection wilted before it had really begun and Nino laughed, a happy bell like sound that was almost as musical as a song bird before he pressed a kiss to his cheek. “What was that for?”

“For being more grossed out at the thought of me and my dad together than me transforming into a vulture while you were fucking me…”

“Well…That’s not something you can help…Like the mole on your chin or your bloody temper…It’s a part of you and I like all parts of you…” Jun admitted knowing that it was the closest that he had come to confessing. Nino went very still against him before he smiled his eyes softening as he moved forward about to place a kiss to his lips when the door was thrown open and Kazuko came stalking in.

She had changed out of her travel robes into a long green dress her hair styled high on her head making her look like the muggle idea of an elven queen. Her eyes danced with merriment as she saw them and she let out the musical laugh Nino had before saying brightly;

“You really are adorable, I’m happy to see you’ve made up…But come, Jun-kun your mother is waiting for you downstairs…”

“Right…Um…Should we go? You wanted to see Diagon Alley right? Harry Potter’s first walk into the wizarding world! I’m sure you want to tick off all the places he went!” Nino teased seemingly back to his old self and Jun wondered if all he had been worried about was him accepting the vulture side. It had to be a big deal to them, Veela, amongst their own kind they wouldn’t have that fear of rejection but out in the wizarding world it would be very real. Nino was an idiot if he thought that would put him off, yeah it might be shocking to see and he might need to have a word with Kazuko about how she handled it but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

“Shut up! I’m not that bad!”

“Oh my, JayJay, you’re worse than bad…But it’s one of the things I like about you…Come on…I’m sure the first place you want to go is that joke shop…”

“The first place we will be going is Gringotts. I have to set you up a vault that you can use…Its part of your inheritance from your grandmother…” Kazuko whispered softly, and Jun watched the smile slip from Nino’s face at the mention of his grandmother. “She wanted you to enjoy yourself with it while you were young but…The money I am putting in there has to last you the entire time you are on your exchange, Ninomiya Kazunari…So, no more than three games…”

“Okay, okay, I wouldn’t waste that money on that…” Nino whispered honestly, and Kazuko nodded stroking his face gently with her finger tips before bopping him on the nose. She smiled at Jun and then turned on her high heeled heel and stalked out of the bedroom.

“Meet us downstairs in five and I might buy you that new broom you wanted…” She called over her shoulder and Nino let out a happy shout pulling on his shoes and jacket. Jun watched him with a smile glad to see that he had managed to recover slightly now. He did notice though that a few feathers had formed at the base of his skull near his ears. It was quicker than they had formed before, and he reached out to stroke them down surprised when Nino purred.

“Um…Sorry…My fathers…They are…More sensitive now…I guess…Um…” The Veela flushed brightly biting on his lower lip and Jun stroked the feathers again. “Geez, I tell you they are more sensitive, and you stroke them more…You’re evil…”

“They were always soft…But I think they are softer now, like silk…”

“You have a feather fetish…Wait till you see my wings…”

Yeah! You continued. I was worried that you have forgotten this story. I like the interaction between Nino n Jun. N I definitely cannot wait for Jun to see Nino in vela form n of course their first time...lol

Surely he was scared of Jay not accepting his vulture side cause then they'd never have sex xDD and that last line, Nino wants to show his new found power to Jun?! Cause Jay wanna see!
