MatsuMiya and the Hogwarts exchange programme part 3

“Bastard” Nino spat shooting out a rather fancy yellow spark from his wand and blowing up a dummy which looked suspiciously like the headmaster. Jun would have flinched as the wood scattered over the room if he didn’t know that a shield would be in place. Niji had curled up by his master’s feet and was watching things with great interest through his bright blue eyes. Jun watched as the dummy repaired itself swiftly and Nino prepared to fire at it once again.

“I don’t think it was the headmaster’s idea” Jun breathed, and Nino let out a huff firing towards the dummy and this time setting its head on fire. Nino was half veela from his father’s side and although males were rarer than the females they had all the temperament. Which was probably why nobody complained when he needed to let off steam. Even the teachers tended to avoid the practice room when Nino was inside.

“I know but I couldn’t remember what the minister of magic looked like” Nino replied dousing the dummy with water and positioning himself back into his stance. “Urgh. Why couldn’t they have just done a test?”

“Because Sho is right. We’re in the top ten, Nino…” Jun started trying to pacify his friend but from the way Nino’s wand twitched against his fingers it was clear that he wasn’t pacified. He sent some sparks out and the dummy flew backwards smashing into the wall below the window with a low and painful sounding crunch. With a growl, which wouldn’t have sounded out of place from Niji, Nino turned to look at him with his hands on his hips his wand tapping against his leg. It wasn’t the best position for him to be in, but Jun was confident he had enough control over his magic that he wouldn’t take his own leg off.

“Yeah, but then you will win the lottery and I won’t and then you’ll be going off to Hogwarts with Sho and I will be stuck here alone for three years” Nino muttered “And then you probably won’t want to come back…”

“Are you planning my entire life out in the UK before even knowing for sure if I can go? And what makes you think you won’t be picked?”

“Because I never win at lotteries! You know that! I am the unluckiest person I know!” Nino grumbled, and Jun had to acknowledge that Nino’s track record really wasn’t very good. He was amazing at anything he could study for or train for, but games of chance were his Achilles heel. A lot of people joked that it was the curse placed on him so he didn’t get too big headed. “If I don’t try mum will be mad though…”

“Probably, look I’m going to apply so you should too” Jun sighed softly holding up his hand when Jun made to protest and quickly continued “if I get picked and you don’t I will refuse to go, and you can do the same if you get picked and I don’t. If your mum says anything you just say that you tried”

“…I guess that would work, but you wanna go to Hogwarts…” Nino almost whined looking even more troubled at his suggestion and Jun smiled shaking his head as he rolled his shoulders in a small shrug.

“I didn’t even know it was an option until you told me, so don’t worry about it, okay? So, stop giving me the glaring face and smile, otherwise Niji is going to attack me again” Jun huffed looking at the wolf hybrid who was staring at him with his eyes narrowed. Nino gave a laugh, the sound ringing brightly like a bell now, as he patted the dog on the top of his large head.

“Niji wouldn’t really hurt you, he just likes playing with you…”

“Yeah, by trying to bite my fingers off. Besides I don’t want to end up on the hard floor when Arashi is in my pocket” Jun muttered shooting the demon dog a hot glare as his fingers ran over the bump of the turtle. “So, we’re going to apply?”

“Yeah, I guess. Who is the other teacher going? If Aiba-sensei is one of them…”

“Ohno-sensei” Jun hummed his own eyes growing a little sharp at the look that came over Nino’s face. Jun knew that the charms teacher was Nino’s godfather and old friend of his father’s but they had a very close relationship with Nino often hugging the teacher from behind or caressing his buttocks when he thought he could get away with it.

“He didn’t tell me about that”

“Maybe he didn’t think he needed your approval, he’s a grown man after all” Jun groused almost certain that Nino was going to start shooting at the wooden dummies again. Surprisingly Nino seemed to calm almost straight away his lips twisting into a playful smirk.

“Jayjay is jealous…” He teased almost skipping over to him and Jun rolled his eyes taking a step back as he shook his head. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to kiss Nino, but he couldn’t do it when they were so public.

“Don’t flatter yourself”

“Don’t need to, I have you to do it for me…” Nino shot back giving him a wink before whistling at Niji and skipping off through the halls. Jun followed behind cursing the temperamental nature of Veela knowing that one day he was going to get a serious headache as he tried to work out if he was coming or going with Nino. Right now, though he was just glad that Nino was no longer angry with everything and was smiling as he raced Niji back to lunch hall where they could put their names down.

A/N: I know that there technically aren’t male veela but…This is fan fiction ne xD Also I was feeling really sick when I wrote this, I have an ear infection and its making me feel really dizzy and sick >.< So I’m sorry it’s shorter >.<

Since I don't know what a veela is I have to assume it's a female with a bad temperament? Sorry, my Potter knowledge goes about as far as the movies. It Nino is a cute male version.

xD hmm...They are magical creatures which mostly look like beautiful humans until they get angry. There is an explanation in the next chapter. Nino would make an adorable Veela :)

It's funny cause usually Jun is the queen of mood swings, now he's at the other side of them, serves him right xD

lol, yup now he has to put up with Nino's changes in mood xD hehe it's fun to write it xD

Yeah, i get them a lot. My ears have been bad since I was born (I was deaf when I was born) I had experimental surgery when I was four but sadly I have awful ear infections at least three or four times a year >.<
