“Cheesy line is seriously cheesy, Tosh” Nino chuckled pressing his lips to his cheek. “You…Seriously don’t mind about the house? About my being a therapist?”
“No on both points, I’m extremely happy that you are confident enough to know what you want and I think that you’ll make an exceptional therapist but it’s going to be a lot of hard work isn’t it?”
“Yeah, but I don’t imagine that you would have had it easy but at the end of the day it will be worth it. I know it’s going to be more difficult because I will have to look after the children as well as studying but you said that I could have as much help as I needed” Nino hummed as he slid into the front seat of the rented car. He would have preferred his own car but this was a lot less conspicuous which was needed right now. He chuckled a little before pointing out softly;
“I thought you didn’t want help”
“I want what’s best for the children and these last two months have made me realise that no matter how much I love them already I can’t do everything.” Nino looked guiltily up at him playing around with a loose tread on his trousers. It was a big admission for Nino but one that Satoshi was deeply proud of. “It will be a strain though…Buying a house…Paying for staff and…The course…”
“I told you not to worry about that, pussycat” Satoshi hummed. He had already gone through his finances and found out that he could easily afford the house and everything else that they might need. His job paid well and he had very little reason to spend anything on anything. Now he had a husband that he wanted to give the world and said husband couldn’t help but worry about the cost of everything.
“But I am going to”
“Nino, I’m a very wealthy man and even if I wasn’t, when that bastard is put away and the children come to live with us any money that he has left will come to us and SakurAiba to pay for anything that they might need for the rest of their lives” Satoshi informed him quietly hoping to appease him though any money that would come for the children would go directly to the SakurAiba pair. There was still some money, though the man was close to becoming bankrupt due to some bad choices he’d made. There was no sympathy inside of him for his brother-in-law but he did feel for the kids. “I promise, it will all be okay, just focus on your education for now and worry about that later”
“Alright but I want to contribute as soon as I can” Nino hummed and Satoshi nodded along in agreement his hand reaching over the gear stick so he could threat their fingers together.
“And you will later. Come on show me this dream house and then we should go start packing…”
“I have very little to bring” Nino shrugged looking almost shameful. Satoshi had been expecting it however and smiled as he started the car and set it into drive.
“Then we’ll go shopping don’t worry so much…Everything will be alright in the end”
