The beach was as empty as Jun had hoped and he ungracefully dropped down onto a sand dune and immediately picked up a handful of the white sand allowing it to slip through his fingers while he glared at the tiny shells as though they were the reason that he had been born second and that he had been the one farmed out to the mixed school. He had almost forgotten that the Ohno Heir had followed him until the heir was settling himself down beside him with his arms tucked under his head his eyes on the clouds again. He glared at the heir wondering why somebody who didn’t have to be here would be. It wasn’t as if the heir wouldn’t have had the finest home tutor’s money could buy if he wanted them.

“I was bored” Satoshi informed him softly his voice jerking Jun out of both his thoughts and his glare as his mouth fell open and his eyes widened. He was sure that he hadn’t spoken out loud and he was even more certain that the rumour the Ohno’s could read minds was just that a rumour. “If you want to know you might as well ask, I’m the heir to the Ohno house one day I will be the master. When my mother gave me life it appears she gave me a life sentence. Ohno hall is indeed beautiful but it is as good as a prison…Why don’t you want to be here, little Matsumoto?”

“Don’t call me that!” Jun growled out bitterly his high cheek bones flushing with just a touch of colour as he drew his legs up to his chest and hugged his knees. “This isn’t any better than a prison”

“Perhaps, it depends on your perspective. Did you know nobody has ever said my name until your brother said it today” Satoshi huffed sounding disgusted and Jun wasn’t completely sure if it was down to nobody saying his name or his brother being the first to speak it. He rather hoped that it was the latter, he hated his brother with a passion the boy having made his life hell because of the sheer fact that he had been born first. It wasn’t as though that was an achievement that he could call his own and everyone in the family knew that his academic ones were all bought and paid for. His brother was a dumb as a lamppost and only cared about his appearance. If Satoshi hated him as well then there was a real chance that he would have to work to make it onto the council and then everyone would see what a waste of space he really was. “It was always sire, sir, master…Even my parents called me Heir…I thought that was my name until I happened to see it written on my birth certificate”

“At least you had worth, all I am, is a bargaining chip. My father is going marry me to one of the humans. Offer me up like a bloody sacrifice” Jun spat remembering the conversation that he’d had with his father not so long ago. The man had made it sound like he might fall in love with one of the humans but the subtext was there it wasn’t a choice.

“My father has been arranging my marriage to my cousin since I first escaped the womb, I upset the plan by coming here” Satoshi gave a chuckle which seemed to soften his whole face his eyes never once leaving the clouds above them. “The first time I ever acted out of character”

“But you will still be getting married?” Jun asked finding himself laying down as well his back stretching out against the sand as he looked at a cloud that looked vaguely like a deformed donkey or a mutated rabbit. He had never been very good at seeing shapes in the clouds, having always been too much of a realist for that kind of thing.

“My father was convinced to postpone until after graduation though he will be completely disappointed when I announce then that I still have no intention of marrying her”

“Won’t she be disappointed?”

“Her family will be more than she will, branch family making good just because they happened to have a baby close enough in age” Satoshi’s tone was bitter and Jun had to agree that being an heir wasn’t all the fun and games that his brother had made it out to be. Even he had been subjected to an arranged marriage but at least they had been stupid enough to pretend that they loved each other of course for Jun it was telling that his sister in law wasn’t here with her husband. “You should be happy that you could be allowed to pick who you want to marry, even if it is a human its better than I’ve been allowed”

“I highly doubt any of the humans would be interesting enough for me” Jun spat his eyes going to the beach when he heard a sharp horn like noise and his stomach twisted as he saw the boat sailing by. “I guess this is it”

Well, if they meet him right away it won't be a healthy Nino they meet. Lol! What if he throws up on their shoes or something? I think Ohno would love it and Jun would be mad. This is great!😊

I wonder how Nino Jun and Ohno meeting will be, I can at least imagine how Aiba and Sho are XD
The story getting interesting and it will be a nice shock for me to read how wrong Nino Jun and Ohno though about the whole situation is XD
